- After her father's mysterious death, a young woman returns to her home in California, where she becomes a symbol, the Queen of Swords, fighting for justice and trying to right the wrongs the colonel has done.

He has three children, Sohrab - who has finished his college studies and is now being admitted, much to his dislike, to Indian Institute of Technology (I.I.T.); while Darius, his second son, and daughter, Roshan, are school-going; his wife, Dilnavaz, looks after the children and the household. Their neighborhood is filthy, people urinate and defecate near the wall which encloses their building. Gustad asks a pavement artist to move near his building, draw pictures of religious Gods and Goddesses depicting the four main religions: Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, and Sikhism. The Artist agrees, and soon the place is transformed into a huge temple where people of all religions come to pay their respects. It is only a handful of people who know that Gustad is involved with a rebel RAW Agent, Major Jimmy Billimoria, who is actively involved with an extremist organization in East Pakistan, Awami League, aiding them financially and with manpower to overcome the Pakistani Government. The question remains what will Gustad's plight be when the news gets out of his involvement in this activity, especially when he receives 10 lakh rupees to be deposited in small installments in his Bank, in the midst of sentiments running high, war being declared between Pakistan and India, emergency blackout conditions and air raid sirens.
- When a brilliant artist and her husband become subject to a series of bizarre occurrences in their isolated house in Brittany they both suspect that the other person is responsible.

- Adventure Inc obtains the fossil of the Sunda Man, an early species of man believed to have lived for 150 year or longer. There are a lot of parties interested in this fossil, including a professor who has a familial history with the fossil.
- Judson is forced to "borrow" a jade artifact from the governor in order to find the Mayan jade altar in the hidden City of the Sun. The governor's daughter is introduced to her true love via mystical forces.
- While stealing the Crucible of Geber from a gangster's home, Gabe finds a woman being held captive and rescues her. But Ana wasn't in distress, and turns on her would-be saviors.
- Judson and his crew are hired to salvage the wreck of an allegedly cursed ocean liner sunk by a U-boat during World War II. People connected with the salvage start dying bizarre, maritime deaths on dry land. Is it murder, the curse...or maybe both?
- The CIA comes after Mac, who used to contract with them. Mac can't remember a lot of her time with the CIA, which leads to problems. Guest starring Chris Geere ("You're the Worst") and Henry Ian Cusick ("Lost").
- A Mars mission simulation fails, causing five people to disappear. Adventure Inc come in to find the team. The company CEO, however, doesn't care about the team; he just can't have a failure on his hands. Guest starring Alan Van Sprang ("Shadowhunters").
- When a ring from a missing pirate treasure shows up at auction, Judson is accused of theft and smuggling. It turns out that treasure wasn't sunk as previously thought, but is buried in a castle, hidden by an owner who would do anything to keep people out.
- Judson's ex-girlfriend is kidnapped by a lumber company and held for ransom in the rainforest. Along the way Judson meets a young boy who can apparently raise the dead. Guest starring Noam Jenkins ("Saw" franchise).
- Adventure Inc are hired by a Vietnam vet to escort him to the place in the Cambodian jungle where his unit was ambushed and killed in 1971. However, the area is now controlled by a crime lord who knows the real truth about the "massacre."
- A widow seeks help from Adventure Inc in finding the treasure ship that killed her husband. It turns out she is under the influence of a spiritualist.
- The team becomes unwitting guinea pigs for a biological warfare experiment.
- The team helps search for the Isle of Avalon, the burial place of King Arthur. But not everyone wants their help. Is the sabotage they face the work of locals, or the results of a curse?
- While traveling through the desert, Gabe falls into an underground system of caves. A local ruler agrees to help Adventure Inc find their missing friend, but he seems more interested in finding the hidden caves than in finding Gabe safely.
- The team finds the Iron Mask of the Yeveh in West Africa, but it is stolen before they can return it. The theif puts on the mask and the murders begin.
- While looking for a sunken ship, Judson discovers residential construction is set to begin on a historical site. Judson tries to stop construction and is attacked and left to die in a cave.

- Adventure Inc is having lunch in France when an intruder enters and hides a computer disc on the property. Intelligence agents show up and demand the disc - and don't plan on leaving any witnesses.
- A search for a religious artifact leads the team into a standoff with the Russian mafia. Guest starring Ksenia Solo ("Lost Girl").
- The team thinks they have discovered a synthetic gill that would allow humans to breathe underwater. A search for the doctor who created the gill sends them to a mental hospital. The doctor believes he is from Atlantis.
- Montoya and Grisham capture a Queen of Sword impostor after she stole an army payroll. Montoya sees an opportunity to blame the real queen for the heist and convinces the counterfeit swordswoman to continue her robberies so he can obtain additional troops from the Viceroy while driving a wedge between the peasants and the real Queen.
- The Queen of Swords is shot while investigating reports that her villagers are being abducted and men sent to Colonel Montoya's prison are never seen again. In spite of her wound, she continues her search and discovers the men being forced to labor as slaves in Montoya's secret gold mine.
- While attending school in Madrid (and receiving fencing lessons on the side), Tessa Alvarado learns of her father's death and leaves immediately for her hacienda in California. Upon arriving, she discovers her father had been murdered and the peons starving because of the policies of the local tyrant with the connivance of the wealthy landowners. In a dream, she is visited by the ghost of her father who encourages her to seek justice for the oppressed and avenge his death. Through her servant's tarot cards, Tessa discovers it is her fate to use her skill as a fencer to become the vigilante, "The Queen of Swords".
- Tessa's old boyfriend Antonio comes to California hired by Montoya to deal with the Queen of Swords.
- Cornered by Captain Grisham and his men, the Queen of Swords escapes into an abandoned mine, and is followed by Grisham himself. Just when he's got her where he wants her, an earthquake traps them inside. With a dwindling air supply, the two foes vow to keep up the good fight - until the bitter end.
- While trying to protect a deserter who offered to name her father's murderers, Tessa is forced to reveal the hiding place of a young Indian shaman trying to retrieve a gold mask stolen from his father's burial site. The Queen of Swords manages to rescue both men, but the deserter decides it would be more profitable to reveal the Queen's identity to Colonel Montoya rather than provide Tessa with the information she has already paid for.
- A man from Vera's past comes to Santa Helena, threatening to topple her carefully constructed house of cards. When Bernardo kidnaps her, ransom is not his prime objective. He wants to keep Don Hidalgo's gold, as well as his wife. It's up to the Queen of Swords to save the girl, the ransom -- and Vera's reputation.
- An Englishwoman, Camilla Wentworth, and her two slaves escape her abusive husband by hiding in Santa Helena. But Captain Wentworth claims his wife was kidnapped, bringing Montoya into the already messy situation. And when Camilla turns out to be Doctor Helm's former fiancée, it goes from bad to worse - especially for the Queen.
- An outlaw gang preys on the dons, preventing their taxes from being delivered to Colonel Montoya, who then confiscates their lands. The ranchers, led by Don Selvera, threaten to have Montoya recalled if they cannot capture the criminals, but Montoya gets the upper hand when he learns that Selvera's spoiled children are the gang's ringleaders.
- Roman and Fenner, two con men riding through town, convince Montoya that they can catch the Queen of Swords - for the 1000 reales reward. After the Queen saves Roman, the criminals have trouble keeping their word. But when Montoya sets a human death trap for the Queen, it'll mean teaming with a couple of thieves to beat Montoya at his own game.
- A clipper ship delivers strangers, a Samurai master and his apprentice, to a strange land. After the master is murdered, the young initiate, Kami, vows to avenge the killers - and walks right into one of Montoya's traps, one pitting the Japanese warrior against the Queen of Swords. Will Kami seek the truth, or be blinded by revenge?
- An Ambassador to the King of Spain arrives in Santa Helena with only one thing on his mind - the Queen of Swords' head. Plotting to destroy the Queen, earn a King's reward and, perhaps, assume Montoya's command, Ramirez is quite the ambitious politician. But he's grossly underestimated both Montoya and the Queen - and he'll be lucky to return to Spain with his own head.
- While Montoya and his garrison are in Monterey to meet the new viceroy, Krane, one of Grisham's old associates, returns to exact revenge for testifying against him at his court martial. Krane forces the captain of the guard to help him take over the town by locking up the remaining soldiers and holding the dons hostage. The Queen of Swords organizes the dons's wives to rescue their husbands and rout the Krane's outlaws.
- Grisham gets wind of an old plot hatched by three Dons, including Tessa's father, to keep their friend's wealth from Montoya. The three buried the fallen man's possessions and divided a map revealing the treasure's whereabouts into three parts. As the Queen of Swords races against time to recover the fortune, she inadvertently throws Tessa in the path of Grisham and Montoya.
- A horse rides into town carrying a wounded stranger, whose last words accuse the Rey family of lies and murder. As Montoya and his men try to piece the puzzle together, the Queen turns to Andreo, the son of Claudio and Paloma, suspecting that he's hiding something. When mother and father accuse their own son, she knows without a doubt that its time for the Queen of Swords to ride to his rescue.
- Marta's former lover, Leonardo, visits Southern California in search of his paramour. Leonardo and Marta are arrested when they are found in the company of the sailor's companion who robbed a rancher and killed a soldier attempting to escape. Montoya guarantees his prisoners' freedom if Leonardo will kill a troublesome don who is leading the fight against the governor's planned tax increase.
- The Queen of Swords rescues the son of a don from a bandit leader known as The Serpent, severely wounding him in the process. The Queen is none too pleased to learn that Dr. Helm has treated his wounds and becomes angrier still when The Serpent's outlaw gang destroys a poor peasant village.
- Tessa's uncle, Don Alejandro, arrives from Spain, vowing to bring justice to his brother's killer. Montoya bends the "evidence" in his favor, but as Alejandro is about to kill the alleged murderer, Tessa steps in to vouch for the accused. Don Alejandro is shocked by his niece's actions, accusing her of betrayal. Will Tessa risk losing the only family she has left to save an innocent man?
- While attending a party, Tessa sees the shadows of two people arguing behind an upstairs curtain, followed by a gunshot and the body of Carmina falling to the ground below. Grisham arrests Anton Rose for the murder of his girlfriend based on Tessa's account. Carmina's brothers demand that Tessa testify that she saw Anton shoot their sister. Anton's mother, the swashbuckling Mary Rose, threatens to kill Tessa if she does. Col. Montoya hopes that Tessa testifies and Mary carries out her murderous threat so he can arrest Mary for murder and seize both her and Tessa's land.
- When Don Aguilera is shot, his son assumes the would-be assassin is Don Fuentes since he recently had a violent argument with the young man's father. The Queen of Swords intercepts the assassin sneaking into Dr. Helm's surgery and discovers the intended victim was the doctor, not the don. While Dr. Helm is spurning the Queen's offer of help, the would-be assassin strikes a deal with Colonel Montoya to help each other rid themselves of their adversaries.
- When Grisham causes Vera to fall from her horse, the unscrupulous Captain blames the Queen. Montoya calls for martial law to stop the avenger once and for all, and it seems that everything is finally in place for Montoya to succeed. How can the Queen possibly escape this time?
- An epidemic strikes Tessa's village and the surrounding countryside. When Colonel Montoya is stricken by the fever, Captain Grisham takes advantage of the situation by stealing or destroying Dr. Helm's entire supply of medicine, and blames the Queen of Swords for the theft. Tessa turns the tables on the officer by drugging his drink with herbs that cause fever-like symptoms and, as the Queen of Swords, follows the Captain where he hid the stolen pills.
