- Friends and family of a married Black architect react in different ways to his affair with an Italian secretary.

- Dr Ram Prasad Ghayal (Amitabh) is a surgeon whose scalpel proves to be a magic wand. He has a wife called Janaki (Dimple) and a brother called Bharat. In the second half, both brothers come to know that Bharu Pratap raped his mother and killed his father, Kishan. Then, both of them takes revenge from Bharu Pratap.
