- In 1966, 800 workers from the Biscayan company 'Laminación de Bandas en Frio' carried out the longest strike of Franco's dictatorship. In a tumultuous historic moment within the framework of growing organization of the working class and anti-Franco sentiments, hundreds of residents of Etxebarri, Basauri and Otxarkoaga launched a political struggle that would end up being an example for the entire labor movement that would follow. Through the main characters and their stories, anecdotes and experiences, we create an image of the 163 days of strike that made the dictatorship's foundations shake.
- On the slopes of the Spanish Pyrenees, the construction of the Itoiz Dam in the 1990s flooded seven villages. A line of raw rock encircles the contained green water, marking the landscape with a scar that recalls the still acute injury of the residents displaced 592 metres higher up. The landscape has changed and the relationship between men and their environment has been disturbed. After having fought for years against the flooding of the villages and lands, today they are the distant observers of a suffered change. Ilargi is a farmer and Javier is a park ranger responsible for protecting vultures. They each embody a very different relationship with animals and space. One is close, with a relationship that involves touch as she provides the cows with care. The other, necessarily far from the birds of prey, mainly watching them with binoculars, is in a purely visual relationship. The film lies here, in this difference of distance and point of view created by the disruption of the scenery and, with it, that of an entire ecosystem, in a strong duality of elements, between life and death.
- The only time the Spanish women's wheelchair basketball team participated in the Paralympic Games was in Barcelona in 1992, when Spain was granted the place as the host country without the need to qualify. Twenty-four years later, for the first time in history, the team once again has the chance to compete in the Paralympics. Despite having fewer resources than other countries' teams, the Spanish team is making its way against all odds in the international competitions. An intimate, player's-eye view follows the physical and psychological journey leading to the team's historic qualification for the Paralympic Games in Tokyo 2020-21.
- Somewhere in central Spain, a shepherd dreams of traveling to Titicaca, a retired musical duo recollects on their golden age, two girls unsuccessfully look for Pokemons and an old man counts all the empty homes in town to fall asleep.
- In my heart, I had a thorn of passion. One day I managed to rip it out. Now I don't feel my heart anymore. Antonio Machado. This film wants to be the portrait of some impossible love stories through the summer time. The protagonists have different ages, religions, nationalities and backgrounds, but there is something they have in common: all of them have decided to live their loves despite everything. We don't know if these stories will have a happy ending or not. All we know is that all of them will have been worth living.
- A man, a woman and their young daughter live together in an apartment in the Basque Country. Domestic chores and everyday gestures are superimposed onto lush, green landscapes. The filmmakers and their stand-ins reinterpret fragments of a diary. Music fills the house while children's drawings come to life. Combining quiet observation and moments of fantasy, 'In a Nearby Field' is a film about support, heredity and the invisible little labors which sustain us.
