TV Favs - Prime Time Series (ALL TIME)

by LCW-Movies | created - 05 Feb 2011 | updated - 26 Mar 2020 | Public

These are "My All Time Favorite Prime Time TV Series", which can include Scripted Sit-Coms, Scripted Dramas, Sketch Comedy Shows, Variety Shows, and Reality Shows. In other words, shows intended for pure entertainment. Sit-Coms and Dramas comprise the main part of the list at the top, while "Sketch Comedy Shows" and "Reality Shows" are segregated and included at the bottom of the list. Although I watch a lot of prime time documentaries, news shows, and other educational oriented shows on broadcast networks, news channels, and educational channels like PBS, Discovery, Science, History, National Geographic, etc. - I am not including any within this list (except for Survivorman). "My Favorite Prime Time TV Series by Decade" are provided within a Footnote at the bottom.

(871 episodes over 44 seasons) (in 45th season (19-20)) (Oct 11, 1975 – present) I watched the October 11, 1975 premiere of Saturday Night Live and have been watching it on and off ever since – sometimes watching religiously (especially when the casts were stellar) – sometimes only watching occasionally (especially when the casts were not that great, &/or when I was not at home on Saturday nights due to an active dating/social life in pre-dvr days). I have seen every single episode since getting a dvr about a decade ago. I would estimate that I have seen probably 75%/80% or so of all the episodes since 1975.

(in ___ season) (May 31, 2000 – present) I no longer watch this reality show because I got burned out on it (like most people), but I loved the show for awhile and still consider it one of my All Time favorites. Here are the seasons I watched:

#1 (Borneo) - Watched last 1/2 or so of season #2 (Australian Outback) - WATCHED ALL #3 (Africa) - WATCHED ALL #4 (Marquesas) - WATCHED ALL #5 (Thailand) - WATCHED ALL #6 (Amazon) - WATCHED ALL ** Stopped watching after Season 6 **

(in 34th season (premieres Spring 2017))
