Monica is my current favourite from this list. My wife insists that she's not beautiful, and to be fair she's quite right. Quite a few of the others here are more beautiful than her, but none as desirable. She has it all.

First came across her in Tombstone opposite Kurt Russell's Wyatt Earp. Even now, almost 20 years later she's looking just as good.

Maybe not a name known to many. She played the love interest in John Ford's 1949 classic She Wore a Yellow Ribbon. She was absolutely delectable in a cavalry troopers uniform complete with yellow ribbon of course.

Beautiful Belgian actress. Appears in many French films, often with short hair. Wonderful in Quand J'etais Chanteur amongst others.

Strikingly attractive star who came into her own in the 50's and 60's. Imperial in 55 Days in Peking.

Slightly overweight Scottish actress. First seen in At Home with the Braithwaite's and more recently in the remake of Survivors. Often plays rather brash characters. One of those actresses whom I find attractive, but I don't know why.

Colonel Wilma Deering from Buck Rogers around 1980. Had a bum to die for in her skintight uniform.

Another classic beauty from yesteryear. Gorgeous in Captain Blood, The Charge of the Light Brigade, Robin Hood and Gone With the Wind to name but a few.

Sultry latino. Remembered particularly for her snake dance in From Dusk Till Dawn.

Star of the Thirties and Forties. Just like Morgan Freeman in my favourite film The Shawshank Redemption, I love it when she does that sh*t with her hair in Gilda.

Super sexy Number Six from Battlestar Galactica. She's much too thin for my liking but looks so good in that red dress.

Shapely female star of Taxi back in the late Seventies, early eighties.

I know for a fact that I've seen Catherine Hicks in a number of films but none of them particularly stand out for any reason. I just find her very attractive, possibly the perfect girl next door.

Another gorgeous redhead, getting better with age.

Can only really recall seeing Holly Hunter in Always. But the combination of her looks and accent are well worth remembering.

Simpy gorgeous in everything I've ever seen her in. One of many women who blosom after reaching thirty. Unforgettable in Twister and Mad about You.

Quirky little British comedy actress from the Seventies. Remembered for her role as Barbara in The Good Life. Very pretty and, if I remember correctly, the rear of the year for a few years running.

Understated star of the Forties and Fifties. For me, didn't always have the most flattering of hair styles, but very attractive when they got it right. I particularly like her in The Life and Times of Colonel Blimp.

Elegance and beauty in one. I first really noticed her in To Die For back in 1995. Since then, she's got better and better. Especially lovely in Moulin Rouge and The Others.

Played Constance Hazard in North and South back in the eighties. I thought she was simply stunning. Played that role with a lovely Irish accent as well.

I remember seeing Alex Kingston on British TV playing Moll Flanders about 20 years ago and was immediately taken by her. Then came, amongst other things, E.R. and more recently her role as River Song in Doctor Who. In my eyes, surely, one of the greatest non-travelling companions the Doctor has ever had.

Beautiful with long hair and a kimono in The Last Samouri. Not seen her in anything else. Really don't think her IMDB photo does her justice.

The blend of short hair, slinky dresses and evil disposition was a heady mix to teenagers back in the late Seventies and early Eighties.

A little young and a touch too thin, but always looks so good. I particulary like the contrast of long and shaved hair in V for Vendetta.

Another of those actresses who I can't quite work out why I like them so much. She's a little overweight, but even now into her Fifties I find her attractive. Often plays big and brassy characters such as in At Home with the Braithwaites.

Quirky actress best known from the American version of Shameless. She's a bit thin for my liking but nevertheless still very attractive.

Seven of Nine from Star Trek Voyager. The only reason to watch the show. Incredibly sexy with her borg implants and figure hugging costumes.

I actually didn't like Amanda Seyfried the first few times I saw her. However, she has grown on me enormously as she's got a little older. I think it's her lips in particular that I like the most.

Haughty blond from the Seventies and Eighties. I remember her most from Moonlighting.

My all time favourite Doctor Who assistant. A very pretty, girl next door type. I would have been about 10 when she first played Sarah-Jane Smith. I was delighted when she reprised the role thirty years later in the new Doctor Who.

Attractive Norwegian actress. Very popular from the Sixties through to the Eighties.

Sultry British brunette of Indian extraction who, unfortunately, seems to get killed off in pretty much everything I've seen her in with the exception of Game of Thrones. Though that day will surely come sooner or later.

The bionic woman of course. Another teenage fantasy.

Popular Australian actress. Simply gorgeous, especially in Mulholland Drive and King Kong.

Riply from the original Alien films. Very nice in a sweaty atmosphere.

Attractive dark haired British actress. Not seen her for a while, but very noticable in the Eighties and Nineties.

B-Movie actress specializing in Erotic films in the early Nineties. Very attractive and a body to die for.

Another really attractive British brunette. Very nice in The Sixth Sense and Below amongst others.

Who can forget Rose from Titanic. Her nose is a touch too big for her to be considered beautiful but very attractive nonetheless. Still just as pretty when she teamed up with Leonardo again for Revolutionary Road eleven years after Titanic.
