Tidbits from the Awards Weekend8 of 11
The Spirits were held up for about 10 minutes waiting for James Franco who had to introduce 127 Hours, the first Best Picture mentioned. I was frankly surprised he was agreeing to do it at all since he had to host the Oscars the next day and was going through a lot of rehearsals. Franco did arrive, did his bit and then left. By that time most of the eager, but frozen fans lined up along the outer perimeter of the show had drifted off or had gone to warm up. But there were about 100 or so people left. When Franco left the building he took the time to go over and sign autographs before getting back to the Kodak Theatre. I was impressed.
