My Top 100 Favourite Movies of All Time (As of 2022)

There are many reasons why these are my favourites. Some made a good impression on me, some had me engaged for days on end, some had me glued to the screen during my first viewing, some are just timeless classics, some actually got better after a second viewing, and some I have the pleasure of watching countless times on DVD and video. There are a few which haven't really stood the test of time and are not right up there on the list but are still enjoyable and are definitely worth a mention.
The list spans across 73 years from Modern Times which was released in 1936, to Top Gun: Maverick which was released in 2022.
