Brie Larson is great in the titular role. Well shot with great vfx, but come of the action is messy at times and there are excessive music cues.

Will Smith brings his own interpretation of the Genie, which doesn't always work, but his charm makes it bearable. It's well produced and crafted, for the most part, but doesn't add much to its animated predecessor.
