Editors' Picks: Our Favorite Things From the Week of Jan. 286 of 11
Film Festival Winner of the Week
The Sundance Film Festival came to a close for another year but not before handing out its annual awards. Winning the coveted Grand Jury Prize for best U.S. dramatic feature was The Miseducation of Cameron Post, starring Chloë Grace Moretz in the title role. The story centers on a teenager who is sent to a "gay conversion therapy center" after being caught making out with the prom queen. But instead of being "de-gayed," Cameron finds a community with whom she connects for the first time. Speaking at the IMDb Studio at Sundance, Moretz told us: "This was almost a no-brainer for me. It was one of the most beautifully written scripts I’ve ever read." This is one to look out for in 2018.
