DWN - Cara Williams was super good to look at. So was Shirley Jones as 2nd place to Cara. The gangster/union story was a befuddled mess. Other than Cagney supposedly being a crook, I could not tell what crime he was doing and who were those trying to boss him around. Another Hollywood attempt to try and convince us that a young woman will fall in love with an old duffer. That's their world where old rich guys get young hotties based on their money. Would anyone ever confess to something knowing they would get 20 years in prison? Not a real criminal.
