The Academy Awards presents the Best Film Series (Year Release Edition)by AlexHartsell | created - 04 Mar 2016 | updated - 7 months ago | Public
A director's cut of one of my favorite IMDb lists this time in the order of the year their film or show was released. Also if a TV show of that series is still running on the TV, the TV show is still on while the movies are done in the series after the last film was nominated for an Oscar. Also some of these series are not only sequels to the first but are part of the same cinematic universe due to crossovers with other shows or different characters making understandable cameos or being characters being related to other characters. This list is mostly a list of missing sequels of these nominated film series. The final film in the series is where the film series is done with the awards.
