Most known for his explosive and fast-paced Dollars Trilogy, Sergio Leone will be forever remembered as one of the great pioneers of the Spaghetti Western sub-genre. Leone was also well known for bringing actor Clint Eastwood and composer Ennio Morricone to fame.

His filmography, though much shorter than the likes of John Ford or Sam Peckinpah, consists of movies that most consider as absolute masterpieces.
