August Picks: The Movies and TV Shows You Can't Miss4 of 10
"The Terror" | Premieres Monday, Aug. 12, on AMC
This is a hard one to say that I’m truly excited for. The first season of this historical horror anthology series was one of the most dread-inducing TV shows that I've ever experienced. By the looks of the trailer, this upcoming season looks to be no different. What I am really interested in is how the series contrasts supernatural horror with the horrors committed by man and explores how it's hard to discern which is truly worse. "The Terror: Infamy" continues this duality with the story of a series of strange murders that plague a Japanese-American internment camp, and a young man who tries to understand and combat the malevolent spirit responsible. I suggest watching this one with the lights on. — Vanessa
