My personal Halloween Marathon movies to be seen every year. They aren't perfect movies (far from it) but they work when in the mood.

1. Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982)

Kids all over America want Silver Shamrock masks for Halloween. Doctor Daniel Challis seeks to uncover a plot by Silver Shamrock owner Conal Cochran.

A completely different movie from the other Halloween movies. Its a must see, you will remember the shamrock song forever.
2. The Mummy (1932)

An Egyptian mummy searches Cairo for the girl he thinks is his long-lost princess.
Karloff as Imhotep in this classic monster movie is a joy to watch and kicks in the classic monster movies marathon that I adore.
3. Frankenstein (1931)

Dr. Frankenstein dares to tamper with life and death by creating a human monster out of lifeless body parts.
Once again Karloff, but this time in his more famous role as the Frankenstein Monster.
4. Dracula (1931)

After a naive real estate agent succumbs to the will of Count Dracula, the two head to London where the vampire sleeps in his coffin by day and searches for potential victims by night.
This is Lugosi at his best. Halloween wouldn't be complete without Dracula.
5. The Wolf Man (1941)

Larry Talbot returns to his father's castle in Wales and meets a beautiful woman. One fateful night, Talbot escorts her to a local carnival where they meet a mysterious gypsy fortune teller.
My personal favorite from the classic monsters, the wolf man is a great addition to a Halloween movie marathon.
6. Night of the Living Dead (1968)

A ragtag group of Pennsylvanians barricade themselves in an old farmhouse to remain safe from a horde of flesh-eating ghouls that are ravaging the East Coast of the United States.

Romero's Classis zombie movie. No halloween is complete without a Zombie movie...or many!
7. Carnival of Souls (1962)

After a traumatic accident, a woman becomes drawn to a mysterious abandoned carnival.
Creepy, semi-artistic movie thats is moody. An overall treat.
8. Halloween (1978)
R | 91 min | Horror, Thriller
Fifteen years after murdering his sister on Halloween night 1963, Michael Myers escapes from a mental hospital and returns to the small town of Haddonfield, Illinois to kill again.

No halloween is complete without Halloween.
9. Young Frankenstein (1974)

An American grandson of the infamous scientist, struggling to prove that his grandfather was not as insane as people believe, is invited to Transylvania, where he discovers the process that reanimates a dead body.

Halloween is also about having fun which is why this movie is perfect for the season.
10. The Screaming Skull (1958)

A newly married couple arrives at the home of the husband's late wife, where the gardens have been maintained by a gardener faithful to the dead woman's memory. Soon, eerie events lead the new wife to think she's losing her mind.
Ridiculous movie with a skull as antagonist. Makes for a lot of fun on movie nights with friends.
11. Horror of Dracula (1958)

Jonathan Harker begets the ire of Count Dracula after he accepts a job at the vampire's castle under false pretenses, forcing his colleague Dr. Van Helsing to hunt the predatory villain when he targets Harker's loved ones.
Dracula makes a comeback on the list but this time from British cinema and its the begining of the Hammer film we love.
12. House of Frankenstein (1944)

A deranged scientist escapes from prison and recruits Dracula, Frankenstein and the Wolf Man to get revenge on his behalf.
Just when you tought you were done with the classic monsters you get a crossover with multiple monsters!
13. Blood Feast (1963)

An Egyptian caterer kills various women in suburban Miami to use their body parts to revive a dormant Egyptian goddess while an inept police detective tries to track him down.

Instead of the Hammer film "The Mummy", I chose a similarly themed film from HGL, the godfather of gore. Gotta love some splatter movie in this somber time of the year.
14. House (1977)

This movie is something else. Japanese haunted house, bizare movie.
15. Phantasm (1979)

A teenage boy and his friends face off against a mysterious grave robber, known only as the Tall Man, who employs a lethal arsenal of unearthly weapons.

Movie that I love, thrilling with cool design, fun characters, not the last Don Coscarelli movie on this list.
16. The Burning (1981)

A former summer camp caretaker, horribly burned from a prank gone wrong, lurks around an upstate New York summer camp bent on killing the teenagers responsible for his disfigurement.
Friday the 13th might not be on the list but at least we have a murder-in-a-camp movie on there with this gem.
17. The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975)

A newly-engaged couple have a breakdown in an isolated area and must seek shelter at the bizarre residence of Dr. Frank-n-Furter.

This movie is always great + it has the word horror in the title, making it a perfect candidate for the list!

23. Vampire Hookers (1978)

Carradine is an aged vampire who has a bevy of vampiric beauties who lure many of their customers back to his lair. A pair of virile young Navy sailors get mixed up in their shenanigans.
While not a usual halloween movie for most, this scooby doo-esque adventure with vampires and hookers (who would have tought!) is fun and stupid, riff away.
24. Bride of the Monster (1955)

25. A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)

Good old movie, never gets old. its either this one of Elm stree 2 for the camp.

Speaking of werewolves, how about a biker movie with a werewolf riding a motorcycle, cultists and overall stupidness? Cool background movie, not the best one, but enjoyable.
28. Suspiria (1977)

An American newcomer to a prestigious German ballet academy comes to realize that the school is a front for something sinister amid a series of grisly murders.
A movie about ballet with beautiful cinematography. Also...Witches!
29. Pumpkinhead (1988)

Witches, monsters, child death, the pumpkin head series is weird in many ways, but you gotta love this gem.

The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde in 19th century london? No! 70's US ghetto with a guy that turn white when evil? Perfect!
33. Transylvania 6-5000 (1985)

Two tabloid reporters are sent to Transylvania to find the Frankenstein monster - or get fired. They are laughed at there, but something suspicious is going on.

35. Blackenstein (1973)

Black Frankenstein?!? Why not the 70's were a hotbed of awsome exploitation movies, blaxploitation was one of the best.
