1. Se7en (1995)
R | 127 min | Crime, Drama, Mystery
Two detectives, a rookie and a veteran, hunt a serial killer who uses the seven deadly sins as his motives.
Director: David Fincher | Stars: Morgan Freeman, Brad Pitt, Kevin Spacey, Andrew Kevin Walker
Votes: 1,798,060 | Gross: $100.13M
This movie delivers, every time. It was made to have a dark atmosphere which at points, in the beginning, is a tad depressing. Figuring out the deadly sin and which one will come next is suspenseful. Kevin Spacey is crazy good as a crazy man unfortunately too much so by the ending. ☠☢ As every list would mention, the emaciated man lying on the bed under a cloud of Christmas tree car scents. When he coughs, it isn't just the officer that recoils. Full on view of him whipping his head back and forth puts you right there. ☠☢ Brad Pitt going back and forth between the decision to shoot Kevin Spacey is tense. And then bam! cos you really didn't think Morgan Freeman would let it happen. SYFY20161001
2. Jeepers Creepers 2 (2003)
R | 104 min | Horror
Set a few days after the original, a championship basketball team's bus is attacked by The Creeper, the winged, flesh-eating terror, on the last day of his 23-day feeding frenzy.
Director: Victor Salva | Stars: Jonathan Breck, Ray Wise, Nicki Aycox, Garikayi Mutambirwa
Votes: 70,557 | Gross: $35.67M
The movie starts out and ends with the family who has the field of corn with the scarecrows. I was glad they didn't make any big changes to any previous character from the first movie. I hate when that happens. The kids on the bus seemed like another take on the "teens in a cabin" storyline. But the monster is awesome - no shying away from showing his ugly mug multiple times. ☠ The monster's toes moving at the beginning especially, but also at the end. Creepy. ☠ Every time the monster swoops so quick up and away - love it. ☠ Showing the monster full-on. This works because it is a good monster (scary, ugly, repulsive). Great SFX. SYFY20161001
3. The Crooked Man (2016 TV Movie)
TV-14 | 87 min | Horror
Olivia returns home after six years, and a string of unusual deaths leads her to believe that she's being haunted by a mysterious force from her childhood.
Director: Jesse Holland | Stars: Michael Jai White, Angelique Rivera, Cameron Jebo, Dmitrious Bistrevsky
Votes: 1,448
Oh, My. Not with an exclamation mark for sure. The commercials were great and then the show was a complete disappointment. The Crooked Man was just not scary, and neither was the acting. SYFY20161001
4. Bleed (I) (2016)
TV-MA | 82 min | Horror, Thriller
It seemed perfect - a new house, a new marriage, a child soon to be born. But when Sarah and Matt invite their friends to celebrate, the situation turns deadly as they enter a burned-out prison on a ghost hunt.
Director: Tripp Rhame | Stars: Chelsey Crisp, Riley Smith, Michael Steger, Lyndon Smith
Votes: 1,733
This movie started out promising and went dry and then in way too many directions. The burned out prison would have been more effective as a blackened building. Kane had some great SFX fire moments but never became a real horror. By the end, I felt like it was trying to make a play on Rosemary's Baby. Speaking of babies, I hate pregnant women running all over the place before giving birth to a healthy baby - give me a break. ☠ Preacher Kane leaning over the tub NETFLIX 20161002
5. The Ouija Experiment (2011)
Not Rated | 92 min | Horror
Film student Brandon and four friends play with a Ouija board, unwittingly opening a portal to the spirit world and a drowned girl's deadly mystery.
Directors: Israel Luna, Josey Wells | Stars: Justin Armstrong, Belmarie Huynh, Swisyzinna, Carson Underwood
Votes: 3,446
Non-scary stuff I shouldn't like: Calvin. Maybe he reminds me of real life, I don't know - he's funny in a ridiculous way. This movie is cheesy, but it has enough of a story line and tries to stay with it. The characters have silly personalities, but likable and human. Too bad Gracie loses the creep factor at the end. This follows a ton of video camera movies, but in this one that aspect adds a little and isn't bothersome. ☠ The creepy little girl hunkered down in the hallway. ☢ Rules: Never ask a spirit how it died. Never ask the spirit how you're going to die. You never leave the board without saying goodbye. Not ever! NETFLIX20161002
6. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006)

Votes: 77,262 | Gross: $39.52M
R Lee Ermy carries this movie. He is just so creepy. From the first time he speaks, gah!! I would run for the hills!! Brilliant! ☠ Leatherface evens up the legs ☢ Damn, I just killed the entire police department! SYFY20161002
7. The Invitation (I) (2015)
Not Rated | 100 min | Drama, Horror, Mystery
When a man accepts an invitation to a dinner party hosted by his ex-wife, the unsettling past reopens old wounds and creates new tensions.
Director: Karyn Kusama | Stars: Logan Marshall-Green, Emayatzy Corinealdi, Michiel Huisman, Tammy Blanchard
Votes: 119,045 | Gross: $0.23M
A strange get together movie including a man and woman who's child died. The interactions between the guests and the hosts are entertaining for a while but the flashbacks don't add much. Will wandering around half the party is weird and doesn't make much sense. But he does figure out something is going on. The ending doesn't justify the buildup. ☠ When the first person is shot WTH? happened. NETFLIX20161003
8. Would You Rather (2012)

But it quickly gets serious, as in life or death. ☠ When a dare is the firecracker, what happens. ☠ The ending when Iris gets home and sees her brother. NETFLIX20161007
9. The Legend of Hell House (1973)

A physicist, his wife and two mediums are hired to investigate the Belasco House, where 27 guests had inexplicably died in 1927, along with most of a team of paranormal investigators that was sent in the early 1950s.
Director: John Hough | Stars: Roddy McDowall, Gayle Hunnicutt, Pamela Franklin, Clive Revill
Votes: 14,038
Based on the story by Richard Mathieson. Hokey in parts, but the atmosphere and the story of Balasco builds the creep factor. Well done "let's go stay at a haunted house" movie. 70's close-up gore shots are classic and besides I like Roddy MacDowall as an actor. ☠ Lionel's end ☠ Finding Balasco and the story of his legs NETFLIX20161007
10. Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings (2011 Video)
R | 93 min | Adventure, Horror

Director: Declan O'Brien | Stars: Sean Skene, Blane Cypurda, Dan Skene, Tristan Carlucci
Votes: 27,964
Kids on a ski trip seek shelter in an asylum inhabited by the cannibals. The scary scenes were ho-hum, not much jump in these kids. ☠ Stupid guy grabbing the gf's feet when she is being strangled by barbed-wire. Duh, of course her head is gonna fall off ding dong. ☠ Watch out for the barbed wire.... SYFY20161007

Everyone is on Twitter and tweeting, including the killer. Started out super slow and did build up some. Great concept, but it could have been a lot better. ☠ The health nut and the stalker sending her pizzas - hilarious and scary and then her death while out running SYFY20161007

Director: Steven R. Monroe | Stars: Kaitlyn Leeb, Cassi Thomson, Graham Wardle, Dejan Loyola
Votes: 1,425
Kids filming a documentary about the "Suicide Forest". The mother of one of them committed suicide there. Very quickly after entering the forest things get weird. I loved the atmosphere of the forest, but I didn't get the feeling that it was in a foreign country even though they used so much language. It was weird when they used Japanese and then not. ☠ The running "hanged man" until he was revealed as a prank. SYFY20161008
15. The Babadook (2014)

A single mother trying to get through each day with her strange little boy. Then a weird book literally pops up and things go from bad to worse. The kid who plays Samuel is an awesome actor. And creepy. I love this movie and I love saying "Babadook" (I know, weird). And the screaming fights between him and the mom at the beginning are hilarious. The ending was strange and kinda sucked. ☠ That book - creep me out! I also want one of my very own!! ☠ Samuel flying up the stairs backward ☠ Seeing the shadow of the Babadook NETFLIX20161009

Elliott is a guy who gets fired and then drawn into a game for money. A high stakes game that is 13 challenges- we aren't talking poker here. It's bizarre some of the stuff he does pretty quickly just for money. Elliott's dad is #onetwistedsister and his brother is a bit smarter than he has acted, right?! Follow-up movie in a theater with kids winning a weekend in the theater. Calvin's new girlfriend isn't as fun or funny - is he losing his touch? I guess I actually liked all the characters in the first movie, even though it was all cheesy. This one - not so much.... And the story is even worse. OE3 put the original cast back together! +Zena: "Hello?! I just dropped my keys down the stairs, can someone get them for me? " - funny. +You killed off Calvin?! That ain't right.
