Där är serien som starkast, det är kanske 5 sådana tillfällen med oerhört mörka och intressanta inslag som sedan varvas med ganska generiska actionavsnitt. Hade hela serien bara bestått av de förstnämnda hade Penny Dreadful varit genialisk. Nu vacklar den mellan fantastisk stundtals och ganska bra ibland.
