Ryan Potter as "Day Wing"

He is half Asian like Day and has a martial arts and acting background. He isn't blonde or blue eyed but those things can be easily changed. He has the Day "look" of being overall attractive and charming.

Sam Tan as "Day Wing"

A little unconventional since he is primarily a stunt actor but he does fit Day's action and ethnic profile. He has a limited acting resume though but who knows?

Seychelle Gabriel as "June Iparis"

Seychelle Gabriel has a great balance between being tough but beautiful. She has a confident presence onscreen which I think makes her a believable June. She is also ethnic, which fits June's background (dominantly Native American).

Devery Jacobs as "June Iparis"

A bit of an unknown actress but her performance in "Rhymes for Young Ghouls" was so powerful, she can no doubt pull off June's authority with ease. She is also Native American and looks quite young onscreen.

Lindsey Morgan as "June Iparis"

Her character and performance in the show "The 100" is basically a testament to June. She would be an awesome contender.

Ben Barnes as "Metias Iparis"

While he is not ethnic, Ben Barnes embodies Metias completely. His mannerisms and onscreen presence in some of his roles brings out that brotherly protectiveness that Metias has over June. I can't imagine anyone else playing Metias (and the author also stated she wrote the character with Ben Barnes in mind).

Sam Underwood as "Thomas Bryant"

I'm not familiar with a lot of his work but his eyes have a darker emotion behind them. Thomas is a character who is conflicted between good and bad but has a hint of being sinister.

Eva Green as "Commander Jameson"

Eva Green has a huge presence onscreen and basically commands the scene. Any role I have seen her in, she is amazing. She has a huge acting range which is key for Commander Jameson because she is a leader but very corrupt.

Helen Mirren as "Commander Jameson"

Helen Mirren would make a perfect Jameson if the casting directors were looking for an older actress. She has all the skills to play the role and also adds more on the character in her little nuances in her performances. She's a true veteran professional.

Arden Cho as "Kaede"

Arden Cho is a fantastic actress and fits the ethnic profile of Kaede (who is Japanese). She has proven that she can give an intimidating presence onscreen with underlying good intentions, which is basically Kaede to a T.

Kiernan Shipka as "Tess"

She may be a bit too old for Tess now but she has a Tess vibe of being gentle, sweet and nurturing but strong. Kiernan Shipka looks young so age may not be a big problem.

Eloise Webb as "Tess"

Recently appearing in "Cinderella" as young Ella, she showed in those few minutes onscreen kindness, goodness and purity. I got a real Tess vibe from her. She's so talented in acting, she would be able to pull off Tess' emotional range.

Harry Shum Jr. as "John Wing"

He has that great older brother presence, decent actor and right ethnic profile. He looks like he is in his 20s too which is perfect for John. Hair dye and contacts needed for blonde hair and blue eyes.

Ezra Dewey as "Eden Wing"

He is a complete unknown so I can't speak for his acting much but he looks like how I imagined Eden (minus blonde hair and blue eyes). He also played a young Ryan Potter in a music video/short film so it works out quite well looks wise. He is a little young though.

Xihuaru Kilcher as "Eden Wing"

Xihuaru Kilcher is closer to Day's age than Eden's but he looks like Eden to me closer to "Champion". He is Native American but notice...BLONDE HAIR. He fits into the Wing family perfectly. His background is mainly stunts but he has some acting experience.

Diane Kruger as "Mrs. Wing"

This character needs to be strong and beautiful but also haggard due to stress and poverty. Diane Kruger is a gorgeous actress with an incredible range in acting and can bring that out in the character. M/U artists can achieve the "worn out haggard" look. If they can do it on Paula Malcomson and Ashley Judd, they can do it on Diane Kruger.

Tyler Posey as "Anden (Primo) Stravopolous"

Tyler Posey is just so confident and charming onscreen, he would make a believable Anden. He also has kindness in his eyes that would show Anden's character as a leader.
