The Imitation Game - $79.7 million
The old adage “slow and steady wins the race” could apply to The Imitation Game’s box office run thus far: the movie has taken in over $79 million, despite having never earned over $8 million on a single weekend. It’s still holding well, too, and will wind up with at least $90 million total. That’s not quite on par with The King’s Speech, but it’s still very impressive for this modestly-priced World War II drama.
