1.10 - For God's Sake, Get Out! (Supernatural/Haunted House)
"Burnt Offerings" is a creepy slow burner that plays more with mood and atmosphere, rather than with sudden jolts or graphic portrayals of gore. I love the story. Very chilling. It is quite a different take on haunted house films and bears some striking similarities with Stephen King's "The Shining". The acting is great and very believable. The film boasts a truly wonderful score that compliments the movie as much as any orchestra would compliment a symphony.
This movie is just one of those that stays with you long after the credits roll. 8/10
2. An American Werewolf in London (1981)

2.10 - Lychanthrope Lunacy (Werewolfs)
Frightening, hilarious and entertaining. Landis maintains a fine balance between horror and humor. Apart from the ground breaking special FX, which I think was the star of this movie, the main character in this movie is very likeable, meaning you are rooting for him to find a way to get un-cursed. The storyline worked pretty well, but I can't befriend myself with that anticlimactic ending. 7/10
