Milus Has a Secret that Makes him More than a Villain
Milus seems ruthless and Machiavellian. However, according to Stephen Moyer, there's an underlying motivation for Milus's behavior that may cause the audience to see him in a different light. "I had a fascinating conversation with [series creator] Kurt [Sutter] where he said every single thing Milus does is thought through. I don’t want to spoil too much but… he also does have a conscience deep, deep within that hard shell and he has come up with a reason for doing everything that he believes is for the good of everybody. When Kurt said [that piece of information], it all made sense and it had me going back and reading deeper into every line... So it’s not quite as simple as him being a villain."
