IMDb Pride Month Picks: Must-See LGBTQ+ Movies and TV Shows24 of 32
"Sex Education" | Seasons 1-2 Available to Stream on Netflix
Plot: A teenage boy with a sex therapist mother teams up with a high school classmate to set up an underground sex therapy clinic at school.
Our Take: Never has the fumbly, blush-inducing agony of teenage sexual awakening been so…endearing. This colorful, hilarious, and heartfelt Netflix series makes no character feel small, and does an incredible job of highlighting LGBTQ+ storylines, not simply to tick a box, but in a comprehensive way that welcomes in all manner of under-represented viewers. Asa Butterfield and Emma Mackey are fantastic rising stars, but Ncuti Gatwa steals the show, bringing such joy and vulnerability to Eric, a character who deals with the emotional trauma of homophobic violence. — Hannah
