THE cyberpunk action RPG classic.

It even runs on a toaster so there's no excuse to not try it.

Spider-Man/Peter Parker struggles between his personal life which involves Mary Jane Watson and his superhero life where he joins up with a vigilante known as Black Cat battling a series of foes including the mad Doc Ock.

Votes: 5,651

The side content may have been a bit shallow but the perfected web slinging, the OST and the new story content ripped straight from the pages of the Ditko & Romita Sr. era Spider-Man comics makes this a must play for any spidey fan.

3. Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Dark Forces II (1997 Video Game)

Director: Scott Ewers | Stars: Jason Court, Angela Harry, Christopher Neame, Bennet Guillory

Votes: 1,423

The best damn single player FPS you'll ever play if you have the patience to apply some basic patches and do a lot of rebinding keys.

The level design is amazing and gunplay is a blast. Plus the villain dark jedi jerec is just fun to watch as he chews the scenery in the live-action cutscenes.

4. Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (1995 Video Game)

When the evil magikoopa Kamek knocks Baby Mario from the grasp of his delivery stork and lands him on the remote Yoshi's Island, the plucky green dinosaur sets out on a mission to carry the baby to his parents.

Votes: 2,218

Just a fun, imaginative platformer and a childhood classic. Might just be my favorite of the mario series.

A groundbreaking first person survival horror game that was decades ahead of it's time and continues to dwarf modern releases in the genre.

Just an addictive card game from before the TCG got out-of-hand. No complex restrictions or card code input limits either.

There are some mis-translations with a dozen card descriptions that can screw you over in a match though.

7. Postal 2 (2003 Video Game)

Directors: Mike Riedel, Steve Wik | Stars: Rick Hunter, Mike Jaret, Marcus Davis, Stacie Treumann

Votes: 1,596

Fun, janky sandbox cult classic that knows that it's dumb and does not apologize for it. You'll either love or loathe it.

Also just a DLC expansion 13 years later "Paradise Lost" that's a sequel that's worth it a look as well if you enjoy the main game.

8. Hitman: Blood Money (2006 Video Game)

M | Action, Crime, Mystery

A larger, more powerful agency is systematically eliminating assassins in a series of hits, who are all from Agent 47's contract killing firm, The International Contract Agency (ICA).

Votes: 5,880

Sandbox levels riddled with characters with their own schedules & roles to play with dozens of ways to manipulate events & NPCs to complete your objectives.

Also the best place to jump into the Hitman series. It's that sweet spot of not too watered down like newer entries but not too complex to learn it's quirks like the earlier entries.

9. Fallout: New Vegas (2010 Video Game)

After surviving a bullet to the head, Courier Six traverses the post-apocalyptic Mojave desert in search of the men who wronged him, while making an impact on thousands in the process.

Director: Josh Sawyer | Stars: Matthew Perry, Wayne Newton, Kris Kristofferson, Ron Perlman

Votes: 13,891

Fallout 2 writer Chris Avellone returns to improve upon Bethesda's mixed-bag of a soft-reboot of the Fallout series.

A post-nuclear, post-apocalyptic western action RPG that's only glaring flaws are because Obsidian were rushed by Bethesda to get New Vegas out of the door in less than a year.

10. Prey (2017 Video Game)

M | Action, Adventure, Horror

A modern System Shock spiritual successor that washed the bad taste of Bioshock Infinite out of my mouth.

E | Action, Adventure, Fantasy

Framed by Dr. Octopus, you must help Spider-Man clear his name and save the city.

Stars: Rino Romano, Efrem Zimbalist Jr., Jennifer Hale, Dee Bradley Baker

Votes: 1,958

The game that made spider-man finally "click" with me as a child when the cartoon barely held my attention beyond when Venom was on screen.

Also a very solid action platformer to this very day. It has aged well in the gameplay department and Rino Romano reprises his role as Peter Parker from Unlimited.

Best voice actor for spidey imo.

12. Star Wars: Jedi Knight II - Jedi Outcast (2002 Video Game)

T | Action, Adventure, Fantasy

You guide mercenary Kyle Katarn, who must stop the evil plot of a renegade Jedi by relearning his skills as a Jedi Knight.

Stars: Jeff Bennett, Billy Dee Williams, Mark Klastorin, Vanessa Marshall

Votes: 2,438

Sequel to Dark Forces 2. Switch in developers to Raven Software.

Level design was scaled down and gunplay wasn't as tight but it perfected the lightsaber/force dueling dramatically and with the decapitation console commands on PC you had the most brutal lightsaber duel simulator on the market to this day.

13. Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy (2003 Video Game)

T | Action, Adventure, Fantasy

You play a young Jedi Academy student who must help stop an evil plot by Dark Jedi to collect and use Dark Side energy for their own ends.

Stars: Philip Tanzini, Jennifer Hale, Jason Marsden, Jeff Bennett

Votes: 2,453

Direct sequel to Jedi Outcast that let's you customize your own jedi apprentice under Kyle Katarn and has better, more enjoyable campaign than Outcast.

Duel Welding & Double Bladed saber style were added. Sadly it's harder to enable full decapitation via console even with some patches for some reason so slicing enemies apart is still possible but is toned down.
