Do the Right Thing | Rent Now on Prime Video
Plot: On the hottest day of the year on a street in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, everyone's hate and bigotry smolders and builds until it explodes into violence.
Our Take: It's always stuck with me how Spike Lee was able to make me feel like I was sweating, as though I was actually stewing in the sweltering Brookly heat of Do the Right Thing. But more importantly, if you had told me in 1989 that the film would be just as relevant to the state of America in 2020, I wouldn't have believed it. — James
