January Picks: The Movies and TV You Can't Miss13 of 23
"WandaVision" | Series Premieres Friday, Jan. 15 on Disney Plus
Plot: Wanda Maximoff and Vision are living an idyllic life in the suburbs of sitcom history after the events of Avengers: Endgame. The only problem is Vision is dead.
Our Take: We’re in the middle of the biggest drought of Marvel Cinematic Universe content since the gap between The Incredible Hulk in 2008 and Iron Man 2 in 2010, but, true believers, the rains are coming. "WandaVision" is the first of six (six!) shows set in the MCU coming to Disney Plus in 2021. And that’s in addition to four movies. We can’t wait to catch up with our favorite Marvel couple and figure out what the heck is going on in this mind-bending, sitcom-inspired series, filmed (partially) in front of a live studio audience. — Marcus
