SPOILERS: How Did IMDb Users Rate "The Mandalorian" Finale?6 of 11
Too Much too Soon, and Not Exactly What I Signed Up For | 4/10
The show has abandoned its core principles to make Din ride shot gun and allow old favorites to cameo and hijack the spot light. This is a show I love because it utilized the back alleys of the Star Wars universe in a powerful way. We get to root for a character (Mando) who is essentially a cowboy, with Grogu as an interesting issue on his hands. Tying in with the main story line of Star Wars was somewhat expected but a poorly CGI'd Luke Skywalker saving the day conveniently, just two short seasons in, is disappointing. For me as a fan this shrinks the universe and makes it feel like just another feather on the Skywalker bird opposed to something truly original and contained. I still love the show but this finale was a bit of a mess for me. — ethandgk
