"Twin Peaks" | Available to Buy on Prime Video
Plot: FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper is called in to investigate the murder of Laura Palmer in the small, Northwestern town of Twin Peaks. What he doesn't know is that in Twin Peaks, no one is innocent.
Our Take: "Twin Peaks" was definitely one of my first memories of appointment TV. Every week my friends and I would crowd around a very tiny TV in my college dorm trying (much like FBI Special agent Dale Cooper) to solve the mystery of who killed Laura Palmer, but quickly getting more invested in the backstories of the bizarre residents of Twin Peaks than the murder itself. I don’t think any of us went in expecting it to be as supernatural, scary, and completely surreal as it turned out to be, but that was definitely the reason why we kept coming back.— Vanessa
