Votes: 12,544
Me and my friends just watched it for fun, it was pretty interesting for the first two hours, however, the last hour just felt unnecessarily stretched and boring, wouldn't recommend it for a serious watch, but you could throw the first two hours of this on to take the piss out of it with your mates

Votes: 15,200
I tried to like this movie, I really did, but there's too much that I can't forgive, the story gets a bit boring, the only thing holding this movie together is Nawazuddin Siddique's acting. Watch it if you want but I wouldn't recommend it

One of the last few great J Horrors. It suffers from a few common horror movie problems, stupid decisions made by characters, but it's still a good watch nonetheless.

Votes: 63,539 | Gross: $1.04M
A great story but suffers from a lot of technical issues, amateur camera work, bad sound effects, horribly disguised ADR, but if you're just a casual watcher I don't think you'll notice any of that so give it a watch.
10. Go Goa Gone (2013)

Votes: 14,164 | Gross: $0.30M
I'd seen most of this movie here and there when it played on tv but I'd never really seen it all in one go and man... it's so good. It's one of the most clever and hilarious Bollywood comedies I've ever seen. If you have never watched it, I'd genuinely recommend you do.

Votes: 45,032 | Gross: $3.60M
Had the urge to rewatch this one after a really long time and I'm glad I did. The comedy is great, the drama hits hard, and I don't even need to mention the masterpiece that is the music. The costumes are breathtaking as is the production design. There are some continuity and technical aspects that are lacking a little, scenes don't flow into each other that well, but none of that takes away from the movie. It still holds up in my opinion, and is one of my Bollywood guilty pleasure movies for sure
12. Gangs of Wasseypur (2012)

Director: Anurag Kashyap | Stars: Manoj Bajpayee, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Richa Chadha
Votes: 97,734
A long, LONG journey to take, that's ultimately worth it in the end. It's not perfect in any way, the stylized music doesn't work most of the time, the romance drags, but the acting is masterful, the characters are memorable and the long shots are beautiful.
13. Andhadhun (2018)

A series of mysterious events change the life of a blind pianist, who must now report a crime that he should technically know nothing of.

Votes: 95,385 | Gross: $1.37M
I LOVED this movie so much, the story is breathtaking, the characters are believable, and for the first time in Bollywood, they're smart. The music is SO SO GOOD. I have a few gripes with the ending, but I'm willing to forgive everything because of the rest of the movie. Watch it right now if you haven't.

Votes: 51,050
This movie brings such a refreshing breath to Indian horror that has been missing forever. I loved the concept, The production design is insanely good and the environment and atmosphere is palpable. I would have loved this movie if the main characters had some redeeming aspects to them, but they were so unlikeable that I found myself rooting against them. If it wasn't for that, this movie could've easily been a masterpieces. Still a great watch and fully worth your time, don't sleep on this one for sure
15. Pink (III) (2016)

Votes: 45,929 | Gross: $1.24M
Such a necessary film, the acting is amazing, the story is great. The music feels organic and soulful. My only gripe would be the somewhat choppy editing but it isn't noticeable for the most part. Do watch this for sure.
16. Jolly LLB 2 (2017)
Not Rated | 137 min | Comedy, Drama
Jolly is a clumsy lawyer who is faced with representing the most critical court case of his career.
Director: Subhash Kapoor | Stars: Akshay Kumar, Huma Qureshi, Saurabh Shukla, Annu Kapoor
Votes: 25,967 | Gross: $1.63M
I'm a bit torn about this movie. The comedy was great, especially with the judge, but this movie tries to balance such serious themes and it feels like whiplash whenever it switches to the comedy. There's a way to balance serious themes with comedy (Memories of Murder, Talvar) but this movie doesn't do it well. It's still watchable but I wouldn't say it's a MUST watch.
17. Heropanti 2 (2022)

Votes: 26,790
*sigh* man I don't really wanna explain why'd I watched this, but I will warn you, please do not watch this. I thought it would be fun for shits and giggles, but alas I was wrong. This isn't the worst movie I've seen all year, it's truly horrendous. Nawazuddin Siddique has given up in this movie, the two main leads are atrocious, the action is boring, I hate this movie, god please forgive me for watching it.

Votes: 15,523
What a movie! It's a long one but definitely worth your time. So artistic, so well made and well acted. The messages it gives are great. The cinematography is beautiful and the direction is just perfect. My only gripe came about 3/4ths of the way through the movie but even that was resolved by the end of the movie. PLEASE PLEASE watch this one.
19. 13B: Fear Has a New Address (2009)

Director: Vikram K. Kumar | Stars: Madhavan, Nitu Chandra, Poonam Dhillon, Saranya Ponvannan
Votes: 7,644 | Gross: $0.03M
I'm really conflicted about this one. On one hand the story is engaging with some great acting, but some of the choices made by the director(I assume) were unintentionally funny and took me out of the movie. There's a lot of weird shaky cam for some reason which got annoying pretty fast. The colour grading is kinda weird too but I'll pass it off as an artistic choice. All in all, this is very different from any Indian horror movie I've seen and somewhat refreshing so if you're into that, you can watch it.
20. Like Stars on Earth (2007)

Votes: 195,062 | Gross: $1.22M
It had been a very very long time since I watched this movie, so I did, and oh man. It was so so good. The acting is amazing, the music is just beautiful and the story is tear jerking. It's beautiful to think that this movie came out in 2007 with such important messages. I love this movie and you should watch it too. One of the best Indian movies ever made.
21. Thappad (2020)

Director: Anubhav Sinha | Stars: Taapsee Pannu, Pavail Gulati, Kumud Mishra, Ratna Pathak Shah
Votes: 25,985
A very one time watch movie, but a powerhouse of a performance by Tapsee Pannu and the rest of the cast. Might be worth your time depending on if you care about this stuff.
22. Devdas (I) (2002)

Director: Sanjay Leela Bhansali | Stars: Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Jackie Shroff
Votes: 43,363 | Gross: $3.50M
Such a beautiful looking movie. The sets are intricate and breathtaking, the performance from Aishwarya Rai and Madhuri Dixit is phenomenal, the music and dance sequences are mesmerising. I have a few gripes with the character of Devdas but I cant deny that this movie is beautiful as hell. The plot gets somewhat repetitive at times, I thought the ending was a pit weirdly paced, but sstill I cant hate on this movie. Its truly a gem.
23. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022)
143 min | Comedy, Drama, Horror
When strangers Reet and Ruhan cross paths, their journey leads to an abandoned mansion and a dreaded spirit who has been trapped for 18 years.
Director: Anees Bazmee | Stars: Tabu, Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, Rajpal Naurang Yadav
Votes: 31,360
I don't even know how to describe that this movie was bad. I love the first Bhool Bhulaiyaa and this one just spits in the face of the original. There's nothing in common between the two of them except the name of the ghost. The acting is atrociously bad, the production design is laughable, the cinematography is mid, and the music is cheeks compared to the originals one. Please don't watch this.
24. Last Night in Soho (2021)
R | 116 min | Drama, Horror, Mystery
An aspiring fashion designer is mysteriously able to enter the 1960s, where she encounters a dazzling wannabe singer. But the glamour is not all it appears to be and the dreams of the past start to crack and splinter into something darker.
Director: Edgar Wright | Stars: Thomasin McKenzie, Anya Taylor-Joy, Matt Smith, Diana Rigg
Votes: 142,965
I love Edgar Wright, but this just wasn't it. Its shot well, acted well, and the music is good, but thats where's my praises end. The story is extremely predictable, there's a bunch do tropes, the Josh character is just as flat as a piece of paper, and the ending doesn't really work well at all. I wanted to love this movie, but just pass on this one and watch Shaun of the Dead instead.
25. Drishyam (2015)
Not Rated | 163 min | Crime, Drama, Mystery
Desperate measures are taken by a man who tries to save his family from the dark side of the law, after they commit an unexpected crime.
Director: Nishikant Kamat | Stars: Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Tabu, Rajat Kapoor
Votes: 86,571 | Gross: $0.74M
Mmmm, I didn't really fallin love with this one. The character motivations for Meera are a bit inconsistent just for plots sake. A characters death is very convenient, again, for convenience. The music can be a bit overbearing, especially during "funny" scenes. Gaitonde apparently has no morals whatsoever. Its not a perfect movies at all, and I've seen way better movies so this just didn't hit for me, but if you don't watch a lot of crime thrillers then this might hit for you.
26. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010)

Director: Edgar Wright | Stars: Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kieran Culkin, Anna Kendrick
Votes: 432,413 | Gross: $31.49M
Such a stylistic movie, so well made, such an enjoyable and funny experience, I just love it so much. Edgar Wright doesn't miss with his comedies.
27. Nocturnal Animals (2016)

Director: Tom Ford | Stars: Amy Adams, Jake Gyllenhaal, Michael Shannon, Aaron Taylor-Johnson
Votes: 284,203 | Gross: $10.66M
Such a gripping story with many artistic flares, amazingly acted by Jake Gyllenhaal. Maybe not for everyone but if you're into art films, do give it a watch.
28. Inglourious Basterds (2009)

Votes: 1,461,389 | Gross: $120.54M
My God, probably the best movie I've watched all year. The suspense is so well written, the characters are all so fun, the music is SO SO good, the stylistic violence is also fun, and MY GOD I do not need to mention Christoph Waltz's LEGENDARY acting. Hans Landa is probably my favourite movie villain of all time. Brad Pitt and Diane Kruger are amazing too. I just love this film so much. Watch it.

Votes: 710,637 | Gross: $96.96M
An interesting story with amazing acting and cinematography. Andrew Garfield can smash a laptop on my tits.

Director: Quentin Tarantino | Stars: Uma Thurman, David Carradine, Daryl Hannah, Michael Madsen
Votes: 1,123,381 | Gross: $70.10M
So much BLOOD, and I LOVE IT. The stylistic depiction of violence is so much fun, the fight scenes are amazingly choreographed, not to mention the insanely elaborate sets that accompany the great fights. The stylistic choices with the animation and the colours are so fun, and the cinematography is breathtaking. I understand why this ones a classic.
31. Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019)
PG-13 | 129 min | Action, Adventure, Comedy
Following the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019), Spider-Man must step up to take on new threats in a world that has changed forever.
Director: Jon Watts | Stars: Tom Holland, Samuel L. Jackson, Jake Gyllenhaal, Marisa Tomei
Votes: 500,503 | Gross: $390.53M
The illusion fight was probably my favourite, along with how Mysterio was handled, but other than that this movie is pretty meh, not my favourite of the MCU. Jake Gyllenhaal couldnt bring my rating too high.
32. Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
PG-13 | 148 min | Action, Adventure, Fantasy
With Spider-Man's identity now revealed, Peter asks Doctor Strange for help. When a spell goes wrong, dangerous foes from other worlds start to appear, forcing Peter to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.
Director: Jon Watts | Stars: Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon
Votes: 766,778 | Gross: $804.75M
This just scratches the Spider man nerd itch perfectly. Its a bit too long but I could understand why that runtime could be justified. The fights are pretty good, and of course, Doc Ock and Green Goblin are just joys to watch. I have a lot of gripes with the ending, but it didn't ruin the movie for me. Just a great crowd pleaser
33. The Favourite (2018)

Votes: 204,002 | Gross: $34.37M
This movie is so beautifully shot, the locations and sets are so beautiful, and the acting is amazing. The themes are well written and lord the music is just wonderful. Great watch with well written drama.
34. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)
PG-13 | 126 min | Action, Adventure, Fantasy
Doctor Strange teams up with a mysterious teenage girl from his dreams who can travel across multiverses, to battle multiple threats, including other-universe versions of himself, which threaten to wipe out millions across the multiverse. They seek help from Wanda the Scarlet Witch, Wong and others.
Director: Sam Raimi | Stars: Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong
Votes: 423,182
The MCU seems to be reaching newer levels of midness with each new hyped release. I was really excited for this one because I love Dr Strange, Wanda and the multiverse concept, but they really farted in their own shit with this one. Most of the movie is boring, the way plot lines are handled is stupid and my god don't get me started on the ending CGI. I just wish this movie was more focused on Dr Strange rather than shoehorn Wanda as the villain. All that said, I still liked the visuals, the fights were interesting and the acting was fine.
35. The Raid: Redemption (2011)

A S.W.A.T. team becomes trapped in a tenement run by a ruthless mobster and his army of killers and thugs.
Director: Gareth Evans | Stars: Iko Uwais, Ananda George, Ray Sahetapy, Donny Alamsyah
Votes: 207,243 | Gross: $4.11M
What an experience. My only complain would be the excess shaky cam but thats more of a personal preference, other than that, this movie was incredible. The action is so amazing, miles better than 90% of what Hollywood has pulled off in the past decade. The story is a bit lacking but does the job to hold up what the movie already has. If you're an action fan, you HAVE to watch this one.
36. Pulp Fiction (1994)

Votes: 2,069,292 | Gross: $107.93M
I've quickly become a Tarantino fan, and watching his blowup movie for the first time was an experience for sure. The characters, the storytelling, everything is just perfect. The acting is just beautiful as well as the music. If you haven't watched this, you have to.
37. Batman Begins (2005)

Director: Christopher Nolan | Stars: Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Ken Watanabe, Liam Neeson
Votes: 1,479,960 | Gross: $206.85M
Did I watch this movie solely for Cillian Murphy? Yes. But that doesn't discredit that this movie is still a great watch. It's VERY fast paced, Rachel as a character is a bit annoying and Ra's Al Ghul is a bit mid but Christian Bale's Batman really brings everything together nicely. I loved the Scarecrow as a villain, I just wish they'd done more with him but yea, solid movie.
38. The Dark Knight Rises (2012)
PG-13 | 164 min | Action, Drama
Eight years after the Joker's reign of chaos, Batman is coerced out of exile with the assistance of the mysterious Selina Kyle in order to defend Gotham City from the vicious guerrilla terrorist Bane.
Director: Christopher Nolan | Stars: Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman
Votes: 1,714,859 | Gross: $448.14M
Oh boy. This movie is WAY TOO LONG. The pacing is all over the place, the action is so boring, and my god the twist is stupid. Miranda is just shoehorned into the story for the stupid twist. Yes I didn't like the twist because it kinda makes Bane's backstory really underwhelming. Bane is an interesting villain, but as I said, the twist kinda makes him less interesting. Catwoman was alright. The reveal with the Robin was annoying, the ending was fine, but yea, as an experience, this one was my least favourite of the trilogy.
39. The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014)

Votes: 819,427 | Gross: $59.10M
This movie is such a joy to watch. Each frame is so beautifully composed, it's a treat for the eyes as well as for the mind. The characters are so fun, the music is great and the story is hilarious.

Votes: 763,127 | Gross: $66.21M
Great sequel, I prefer the first one because the action is better in that one, but the story really shines in this one. It's still great and a very entertaining watch.

What a ride! This is such an interesting movie with insanely beautiful visuals, a compelling story, and a short and sweet runtime. Go for a watch for sure
42. The Batman (2022)

Director: Matt Reeves | Stars: Robert Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz, Jeffrey Wright, Colin Farrell
Votes: 666,895
Man, just wow. This is my favourite rendition of Batman (sorry Christian Bale), seeing Bruce Wayne as such an incel is a treat. Zoe Saldana as Catwoman is fine, I felt like she was posing more rather than acting in certain scenes. The cinematography is breathtaking and the score (a bit overused) is also gripping. The action sequences are superbly shot and Paul Dano as the Riddler is compelling as hell. The runtime wasn't a problem for me as it felt justified. I'd recommend watching Se7en before this as this movie clearly draws inspiration from that but it can still stand up on its own. Completely worth a watch.
43. Dunkirk (2017)
PG-13 | 106 min | Action, Drama, History
Allied soldiers from Belgium, the British Commonwealth and Empire, and France are surrounded by the German Army and evacuated during a fierce battle in World War II.
Director: Christopher Nolan | Stars: Fionn Whitehead, Barry Keoghan, Mark Rylance, Tom Hardy
Votes: 667,833 | Gross: $188.37M
This movie provides such a fresh and realistic look at war. The characters are all compelling, you feel for them and can justify their actions without getting a sob story about their dead mom or something. It can be a bit hard to follow since there's so many characters but once you get into the swing of things and recognize everyone's relations and conditions, it's a great watch. The way everyone's story crescendoed into one single story at the end is so satisfying. My only problem was that Harry Styles kept taking me out, sorry. It's a super serious war movie and Harry Styles is just there too looking pristine. Anyway, great movie nonetheless
44. Nope (2022)
R | 130 min | Horror, Mystery, Sci-Fi
