November Picks: The Movies and TV You Can't Miss10 of 31
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever | Movie Premieres in Theaters on Friday, Nov. 11
Plot: The nation of Wakanda is pitted against intervening world powers as they mourn the loss of their king T'Challa.
Our Take: Clocking in at 161 minutes, the much-anticipated sequel to 2018's Black Panther, and final film in Marvel Studios' Phase 4, will be imbued with the spirit of Chadwick Boseman, as the story of Wakanda continues. Ryan Coogler's sequel ups the stakes as Wakanda faces Atlantis, a nation with powers that rival their own, led by iconic antihero Namor, the Sub-Mariner. Joining several returning characters — Nakia, Shuri, Okoye, Ayo, M'Baku, and more — are new cast members, including Tenoch Huerta as Namor, Mabel Cadena as his cousin, Namora, Michaela Coel as Aneka, Alex Livinalli as Attuma, and Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams. — Vanessa
