“The attitude at the U.N. is bullshit,” said the Canadian actor, echoing the frustrations of climate activist Greta Thunberg that world leaders are not reacting with sufficient gravity to the crisis of climate change.
“I have children, I have grandchildren, and the world that I have left them, and am going to leave them, is not one they’ll be able to live in,” Sutherland said from the San Sebastian Film Festival, where the actor is promoting his latest film, “The Burnt Orange Heresy” and is due to receive the Donostia Award.

Haig’s wife, Susan L. Oberg, announced his passing via Instagram: “He was my angel, my husband, my best friend and always will be. He adored his family, his friends and his fans.”
Haig appeared in more than 50 films, from George Lucas’ “Thx 1138” to the 1971 James Bond film “Diamonds Are Forever” to Quentin Tarantino’s 1997 crime film “Jackie Brown,” playing a judge in a role written specifically for him.
But he’s best remembered for his work in low-budget films, particularly horror films like director Rob Zombie’s trilogy “House of 1000 Corpses,” “The Devil’s Rejects” and “3 From Hell.” In the series, he played Captain Spaulding, the clown-makeup-wearing patriarch of the murderous Firefly family and the proprietor of a Museum of Monsters and Mayhem.
As of this writing the film has a MetaCritic score of 63 based on 36 reviews counted thus far — 22 positive, 13 mixed, only 1 outright negative. Over on Rotten Tomatoes, which rates film on a pass/fail scale, it has an impressive freshness rating of 85% based on 147 reviews — 125 positive, 22 negative. The Rt critics’ consensus says, “‘Downton Abbey’ distills many of the ingredients that made the show an enduring favorite, welcoming fans back for a fittingly resplendent homecoming.”

The title shares its name with a city-size spacecraft ferrying humans from Earth to Mars in barely three weeks. It’s a routine trip that’s never run into problems with many passengers already having family on the red planet to greet them upon arrival. But there’s a first time for everything as a small field of debris forces Captain Chefone (Arvin Kananian) off course. Unfortunately a screw breaches their hull anyway, pushing their nuclear fuel supply to critical mass. Expelling it may save them for the moment, but without it they cannot steer. So despite having enough self-sustaining electricity

I’ve appeared in several Zombie films over the years, including playing the warden in “3 From Hell” — which continues the story of the murderous backwoods Firefly family.
And I sat down with Zombie to talk about his work and what has influenced him.
As a kid, what kind of films did you like? Was it always horror?
It was everything. I was media obsessed. I would collect TV Guide for decades and sometimes I’ll go back and look at them. I would first grab the TV Guide, I’d circle everything I was going to watch for the week, which was basically everything. But back then, when you look at it there were so few channels.
