The Retrofuturism Of Marvel's The Fantastic Four: First Steps Shines In New TV Spot
Image
Marvel's The Fantastic Four: First Step unfolds in a reimagined version of the 1960s—an era often associated with boundless optimism, bold dreams of the future, and the thrill of the Space Race.

But in this alternate timeline, the world has already leapt far ahead in terms of technological advancement, boasting innovations far beyond what even our modern world has achieved.

Much of this progress can likely be traced back to the genius of Reed Richards, also known as Mister Fantastic, whose groundbreaking inventions have reshaped the course of human history in this retro-futuristic reality.

Director Matt Shakman has characterized the film's visual approach as a fusion of bold comic book imagination and cinematic grandeur, calling it “a blend of Jack Kirby’s vibrant artistry and Stanley Kubrick’s epic, otherworldly vision.”

In this new, tie-in TV spot for the NBA Western Conference Finals, the retrofuturism of First Steps is on full display.

Annihilators Project Rumored To Feature Silver Surfer - But Will It Be Shalla-Bal Or Norrin Radd?
Image
Last year, we got confirmation that The Fantastic Four: First Steps will introduce a female take on Marvel Comics' classic space-faring hero, the Silver Surfer - but not the version of the character fans are most familiar with.

Emmy Award-winner Julia Garner will play the movie's Surfer, but will actually take on the role of Shalla-Bal.

Daniel Richtman recently reported that there are big plans for the Silver Surfer going forward, with appearances in a number of projects and a solo movie on the way. Now, the scooper is claiming that the character will be a part of the Annihilators (whether it'll be a movie or series is not clear).

On the page, the Annihilators were a team of the most powerful individuals in the universe, including Quasar, Ronan the Accuser, Gladiator, Beta Ray Bill and the Surfer. With this in mind, the character's involvement wouldn't exactly be a surprise,...

Ella Anderson & Juliette Lewis To Star In Adaptation Of Julia Scheeres Memoir ‘Jesus Land’
Image
Exclusive: Ella Anderson (Suncoast) and Juliette Lewis (Opus) are set to star in Jesus Land, a feature adaptation of Julia Scheeres’ New York Times bestselling memoir from writer-director Saila Kariat (The Valley).

The drama tells the true story of Julia and her adopted Black brother David, who struggle to navigate their tumultuous childhood in a harsh Christian Fundamentalist home amid the bigotry of ’80s rural Indiana. When the teens rebel against their abusive parents Ruth and Hank, they are sent to a reform school in the Dominican Republic called Escuela Caribe, where they are imprisoned in a compassionless world that preaches blind obedience over meaningful religious content. Throughout their ordeals, they dream of a better life in a diverse, free environment.

Will they find freedom? That’s the central question. Jesus Land is about the dangers of religious extremism, authoritarianism, bigotry, and the power of love to overcome these dark forces.

Image
Eli Roth’s recently-launched company The Horror Section has signed a deal with Construction Film, the German-based production banner founded by producer and actress Veronica Ferres.

The multi-year, multi-picture co-financing and production alliance — signed in partnership with Media Capital Technologies — has launched with the announcement of two genre-driven feature titles.

Leading the slate is a German-language remake of Eli Roth’s 2015 psychological crime thriller “Knock Knock,” which originally starred Keanu Reeves and Ana de Armas. Roth is set to produce. He will also write and direct an original project, “Final Cut,” a giallo feature currently in development in which Veronica Ferres will play a principal role. Further details on all projects remain under wraps.

“I’m so thrilled to be partnering with Veronica and the team at Construction Film. Veronica is a superb talent both as a star and producer, and I look forward to working with her as a director and producing partner,...

The Fantastic Four: First Steps Reveals First Look At The McU's Galactus
Image
Recently, a new image of Ralph Eneson as Galactus in The Fantastic Four: First Steps was released, giving fans the first clear look at the newest Marvel Cinematic Universe villain. Releasing on July 25, 2025, the film also stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Joseph Quinn, Natasha Lyonne, and John Malkovich. Set in a retrofuturistic alternate universe, its plot revolves around the titular Fantastic Four protecting their world from Galactus after the Silver Surfer heralds his arrival.

Galactus previously "appeared" in 2007's Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, but this version was not comic-accurate, being basically a giant cloud. This decision did not land well with fans or critics, and almost 20 years have passed since the character's film debut. Now, the MCU is...

The Fantastic Four: First Steps Promo Art Shows Marvel's First Family Using Their Fantastic Powers
Image
With Thunderbolts*/*The New Avengers serving as something of a comeback for Marvel Studios, all eyes are now on The Fantastic Four: First Steps. The characters have better brand recognition than the Thunderbolts, but they're also best known to moviegoers for starring in three consecutive duds.

The odds are already stacked against the reboot as it has to share July with Jurassic World Rebirth, Superman, and Smurfs. Excitement among fans does appear to be high, though, and more promo art has surfaced as the promotional tie-ins begin.

This latest wave highlights Marvel's First Family; Mister Fantastic strikes a pose not dissimilar to that classic Chris Samnee comic book cover (he's even making a "4" with his hand), and the Invisible Woman shows off one of her force fields.

The Human Torch, meanwhile, flames on, and thanks to the lines on his suit, looks like a piece of Jack Kirby artwork come to life.

Galactus Promo Art For Marvel's The Fantastic Four: First Steps Reveals The World Eater's Imposing Stature
Image
Thanks to a tie-in promotion with Snapple, MCU fans now have their best look yet at how Ralph Ineson's Galactus will appear in The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

The character was said to be closely modeled on Ineson and that's something the previous Lego sets and Funko Pops have lacked. However, the new promo art shows that Galan of Taa-an will definitely have facial characters that resemble Ineson.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps Merch Reveals Best Look Yet At Galactus' Character Design
Image
We got a first look at Funko's initial wave of POPs for The Fantastic Four: First Steps (beware of spoilers for one particular character below) earlier today, and thanks to some new images, we now have a glimpse of the 6-inch Galactus Pop.

Aside from a couple of obscured shots in the trailers and some blurry promo art, we have yet to get a proper look at this first comic-accurate (he did appear as a cloud in Fox's Fantastic Four sequel) take on the Devourer of Worlds, who will be played/voiced by Ralph Ineson.

Though this Pop is obviously not the most detailed representation of how the powerful villain will be depicted in the movie, it does give us our best look yet at the finer points of the costume and overall character design.

"I’m not someone who knows the whole lore of Marvel," Ineson admitted during a 2024 interview.

This 26-Year-Old Cameron Diaz Classic With a 94% Rt Score Inspired the Thunderbolts* Void Spaces
Image
The Marvel Cinematic Universe's latest big-screen feature, Thunderbolts*, tells the tale of the titular former villains trying to overcome their past traumas, with the Void spaces reminding them of their most painful memories ad nauseam. The superhero blockbuster's director reveals that the inspiration for those spaces came from a classic '90s film exploring the subconscious in the critically acclaimed Being John Malkovich.

Marvel Studios (via X) unveiled an in-depth behind-the-scenes featurette chronicling the Void spaces, created by the dark alter-ego of Lewis Pullman's Sentry, The Void, and how they were conceptualized. Director Jake Schreier revealed that one of the projects that inspired this concept was Being John Malkovich, the hit fantasy comedy chronicling the future MCU star.

"Just the encouragement to try to do something different of, like, Spectrum, some old Jonathan Glazer commercial, I think for Levi's, where they're bursting through walls and there's explosions when they do that,...

Bring Her Back Review — Disturbing, Unapologetic, and Unforgettable
Image
Before YouTubers Danny and Michael Philippou’s (aka RackaRacka) feature directorial debut, Talk to Me, blew up at Sundance, this writer was an early detractor. Our review called it “very solidly-crafted… [but] simply boring.” However, we argued it had mainstream breakout potential, and we were right, as it was a massive financial success for indie studio A24. We also ended the review on a very particular note:

“The strong concept and polished execution are good enough to make whatever the Philippou brothers make next into an exciting prospect, even if their debut isn’t all there.”

Reader, we were absolutely right about that too, as their sophomore feature, Bring Her Back, is the most unsettling thing we have seen this year.

Bring Her Back Review

The Philippous’ latest follows two siblings who are forced into foster care after the untimely passing of their father, only for them to discover a disturbing...

The Fantastic Four: First Steps Funko POPs Reveal First Look At [Spoiler]
Image
Funko has officially unveiled its first wave of The Fantastic Four: First Steps POPs, and in keeping with the company's tradition of revealing spoilers for upcoming movies, these plastic Fantastics confirm that a certain character will make their MCU debut in the reboot.

Spoilers ahead.

In addition to all four members of Marvel's First Family and the Silver Surfer, the Sue Storm Pop comes with Franklin Richards. This reveal probably won't come as a major surprise, since we've been hearing rumors that Reed and Sue's son will appear in First Steps for a while, and the most recent trailer confirmed that Sue will be pregnant (we now know that she will give birth at some point).

A previous rumor claimed that Avengers: Doomsday was casting actors between 10-13 to play Franklin, who will have a "major role" in the film. If you're a fan of the Ff comics, you'll...

The Fantastic Four: First Steps Still Reveals Marvel's First Family Getting Ready To Blast Into The Cosmos
Image
Superman has dominated headlines this week, but two weeks after the Man of Tomorrow returns to theaters, The Fantastic Four: First Steps will land.

A new image from the Marvel Studios reboot has been released today, with Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm preparing to take flight for the fateful journey set to grant them fantastic powers.

Reed can be seen giving Ben the thumbs up, unaware that his best friend will be forever transformed into a "Thing" when they return from the cosmos.

It was initially reported that we wouldn't see the team's origin story in the MCU, but images like this (we've included a few other officially released shots below) somewhat contradict that. Still, we don't expect this to take up a huge chunk of the movie.

Ebon Moss-Bachrach recently talked about how he's approaching Ben, and praised The Fantastic Four: First Steps' practical Yancy...

H.E.R.B.I.E. Speaks In New The Fantastic Four: First Steps Silence Your Cell Phones PSA
Image
H.E.R.B.I.E. is one of the most unexpected additions to The Fantastic Four: First Steps. However, where better to introduce the fan-favourite character than in a retro-futuristic 1960s New York?

A new "Silence Your Cell Phones" PSA is currently playing in theaters, and it sees the loveable robot briefly warn audiences, "You know better." However, that's subtitled, and his speaking voice is a series of computer noises; is this indicative of what we'll see in the movie itself?

If so, this promises to be a very unique voiceover role for General Grievous actor Matthew Wood.

"He’s absolutely as important and as alive as any other member of the cast," The Fantastic Four: First Steps director Matt Shakman recently said of H.E.R.B.I.E. "He’s sometimes a slightly put-upon robot, but he is definitely a member of the family. He’s just so charming and adorable.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps Reshoots Set Photos Reveal A Huge Shalla-Bal/Silver Surfer Spoiler
Image
The Fantastic Four: First Steps is currently undergoing reshoots in Los Angeles, and Julia Garner has been spotted on set as Shalla-Bal, not the Silver Surfer.

With striking blonde hair and a white dress boasting a cosmic blue pattern, Shalla-Bal is seemingly no longer a Herald of Galactus (or has yet to become one). The actor was shown facing the shoreline before turning around and spreading her arms wide.

It's impossible to say what's happening; this could be a flashback revealing when she became the Silver Surfer or perhaps a scene from the end of the film where she's freed of that burden. It may even be something setting up the events of Avengers: Doomsday, though Garner isn't currently expected to appear in that movie.

Thunderbolts* established that the Fantastic Four eventually arrive on Earth-616, and the hope among fans is that Norrin Rad (the male Silver Surfer) will be...

The Fantastic Four: First Steps Director Confirms Movie Will Feature Multiple H.E.R.B.I.E.s; New Art Revealed
Image
With a futuristic 1960s-style setting, The Fantastic Four: First Steps looks set to embrace the comics in a big way. In the movie, Marvel's First Family will encounter the Silver Surfer and Galactus, and be joined by their loyal robot helper, H.E.R.B.I.E.

The loveable "Humanoid Experimental Robot, B-Type, Integrated Electronics" has become a mainstay in comics and animation, occasionally serving as a key ally in battle or, more often, Franklin Richards' babysitter.

Talking to Empire Magazine, filmmaker Matt Shakman said, "He's a Reed Richards creation. He's the highest-evolution robot of our era. He is really Reed's right hand in the lab, capable of assisting him on any sort of experiment, always by his side, whether in New York City or out in space."

He'd later reveal that there will be other H.E.R.B.I.E.s in the movie, "doing errands, walking dogs,...

'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' Just Recruited a Star Wars Veteran To Debunk a Major Casting Rumor

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is officially only a few months away, and the most anticipated MCU film of 2025 just got a major update. Empire Magazine unveiled a new image of H.E.R.B.I.E. in the film, and buried in the report was the news that the character will be voiced by Matthew Wood, famous for his work as General Grievous in the Star Wars prequel trilogy. It remains unclear who Lyonne will play in the film, but she did recently make her animated MCU debut as Byrdie in What If…? Season 3.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps gets retro trading card style character posters
Image
The latest addition in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Thunderbolts*, just reached theatres last weekend – but the next entry in the franchise isn’t far off, as The Fantastic Four: First Steps is set to reach theatres on July 25th. Coinciding with the release of Thunderbolts*, Marvel unveiled a batch of The Fantastic Four: First Steps character posters, and you can check them out at the bottom of this article! The upcoming movie has a “retro-futuristic” style, so it makes sense that these character posters have a retro style to them. They’re meant to look like the classic pack of trading cards that would come with a brittle stick of gum.

There have been several attempts to bring the Fantastic Four to the screen over the years, to varying levels of success. Roger Corman produced a low budget adaptation of the comic book back in 1994, but it was never officially released.

Run Werewolf Run - An Illustrated Werewolf Novel by Onur Tukel: "Run Werewolf Run is the first novel from filmmaker Onur Tukel, who adapted it from a feature film script he wrote in 2018. "I've always loved this script," Tukel said. "It's one of my favorite projects. Covid complicated production for so many films in 2020, and I really wanted to bring this project to fruition, so adapting it as a novel made sense. It was much harder than writing a script, of course. I thought it might take a year or two, but it ended up taking five years.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps Promo Art Reveals A Much Clearer Look At Ralph Ineson's Galactus
Image
Marvel Studios has left Galactus mostly hidden in trailers for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, but keeping promo art under wraps has always been a near-impossible task for Kevin Feige and company.

We recently got a blurry first look at Ralph Ineson's Eater of Worlds, and a clearer shot of the artwork has now revealed the English actor's take on Galactus in all his gigantic glory. That suit is mighty impressive—and comic accurate—and Ineson's likeness is unmistakable beneath the villain's iconic helmet.

Based on comments from filmmaker Matt Shakman, Galactus will be brought to life in The Fantastic Four: First Steps through a combination of practical costume effects and VFX.

Talking about being cast in the role, Ineson previously said, "It was really humbling. When they announced that, I was like, 'How is that going to go down?' because there were a lot of big names that had been attached.

Takashi Shimizu
This Terrifying J-Horror Remake Is Now Streaming For Free!
Takashi Shimizu
The early aughts launched a wave of horror remakes, but they’re especially known as an era full of American remakes of Japanese horror classics. One such adaptation is Takashi Shimizu‘s 2004 film, The Grudge, based on the Japanese film Ju-On: The Grudge, which Shimizu directed in 2002. It’s not often the original director is brought on for the American adaptation, so this is a fascinating film even for just that reason.

In the film, “An American nurse living and working in Tokyo is exposed to a mysterious supernatural curse, one that locks a person in a powerful rage before claiming their life and spreading to another victim.“

The Grudge stars horror icon Sarah Michelle Gellar, as well as Jason Behr (Roswell) and Clea DuVall (The Faculty). It was a massive hit upon release, raking in a reported $187.3 million on a $10 million budget. It was released when I was a kid,...

The next Marvel movie after Thunderbolts* is coming sooner than you think
Image
This year's most unlikely team of superheroes have arrived on the silver screen but it won't be long until another iconic team makes its presence felt on the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thunderbolts* has arrived in movie theaters around the world and it promises to be one heck of a fun time, setting the stage for the next chapter of the franchise - a more positive one, hopefully - by being a good old-fashioned standalone thriller of a superhero movie.

Thunderbolts* has been receiving a litany of extremely positive reviews, with some calling it one of the best Marvel movies ever made. It's a win that the Marvel Studios franchise needed after a number of misses throughout the past few years and it has set the standard very high for what is going to be a string of major consecutive releases over the next few years.

Speaking of that, it won't...

‘One Ranger’ Blu-ray Review
Image
Stars: Thomas Jane, John Malkovich, Nick Moran, Dominique Tipper, Dean Jagger, Patrick Bergin | Written and Directed by Jesse V. Johnson

Opening with the well-worn quote “One riot. One ranger.” from which it takes its title, One Ranger the new film from action specialist Jesse V. Johnson quickly segues into a scene of Texas Ranger Alex Tyree tying up his horse before rousting a stereotypically drunken Native American fugitive.

That’s interrupted by a call to deal with a crew of bank robbers in an Atv, who’ve left a trail of dead lawmen in their wake. He manages to kill three of them, but the leader, former Ira operative turned killer for hire Declan McBride, makes it to Mexico.

That’s where British Intelligence, in the form of Agent Jennifer Smith, enters the picture. The Mexican authorities have arrested McBride, but won’t officially hand him over to the US or the UK.

Yes Chef! ‘The Bear’ Showrunner Confirms Season 4 Release Date
Image
The next season of The Bear just got a major update from its showrunner. It’s been nearly a year since The Bear Season 3 premiered all 10 episodes of Season 3 on Hulu, and while it finished as the lowest-rated season of the series according to Rotten Tomatoes, that didn’t stop FX and Hulu from swiftly moving forward with Season 4. News on the fourth season has been quiet for a while now, but showrunner Joanna Calo recently delivered the update fans have been waiting for. Calo caught up with Omelete on the red carpet for Thunderbolts*, and she confirmed that the show will debut on Hulu on June 15. Calo wrote the script for Thunderbolts* along with Marvel veteran Eric Pearson.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps Lego Set Fully Reveals The McU's Take On Ralph Ineson's Galactus
Image
With The Fantastic Four: First Steps set to arrive in theaters less than three months from today, more merchandise from the reboot continues to find its way online.

We've already got a cool new look at Marvel's First Family today, and now a Lego set has fully revealed the McU's Galactus. The villain is in brick form, but this still ranks among the best shots we've seen of the world-eating baddie.

Lego has found some fun ways to portray the team's powers, though we're a little surprised that there's no Silver Surfer Minifigure. While we know better than to think sets like these offer any definitive idea of what we'll see on screen, could this be an indication that the heroes will fight Galactus at some point?

We'd say it's likely, and a recent plot leak shed new light on what role Galactus and the Silver Surfer will play in The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

Here's How Long Marvel's First Family Have Been Heroes in The Fantastic Four: First Steps
Image
The Fantastic Four: First Steps is set to walk into a new world as it gets the comic book treatment before its anticipated big-screen release. The comic tie-in includes many nuances about Marvel's first family, including confirmation of where the story picks up the heroic quartet.

According to Deadline, the First Steps comic, which Marvel announced on Apr. 25, reveals the starting timeline for The Fantastic Four in the opening Phase Six Marvel Cinematic Universe film. The report claims the one-shot "confirms a few things that fans have speculated about, including that The Fantastic Four: First Steps is not an origin story, but will pick up four years after they become heroes." Though it's been known that First Steps isn't an origin story, the fact that the film picks up four years after The Fantastic Four's members gained their powers confirms that they're a full-fledged superhero team when the movie opens.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps Promo Art Delivers A Fun, Comic-Inspired Take On Marvel's First Family
Image
While all eyes are on Thunderbolts* ahead of its release in theaters next weekend, we know that many of you are far more excited to see Marvel's First Family in action later this summer.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps has a lot riding on it; not only does it lead directly into Avengers: Doomsday, but this team has struggled to make an impact on screen in the past. This movie will also need to contend with competition from Jurassic World Rebirth and Superman.

More promo art from The Fantastic Four: First Steps has surfaced today, this time offering a comic-inspired take on the team. They all look great, though the depiction of Mister Fantastic's moustache is a little...distracting.

The Human Torch looks like he's flamed on straight off the page, while The Thing looks ready for Clobberin' Time. We just hope he loses the full body suit at some...

We Finally Know How Long The Fantastic Four Have Been Together In The Fantastic Four: First Steps
Image
When Disney acquired 20th Century Fox, it meant Marvel Studios regained the rights to the X-Men and Fantastic Four franchises.

We've long wondered how Marvel's First Family would be inserted into the MCU, and in the midst of the Multiverse Saga, we'll meet a version of the team that hails from a parallel reality. They're expected to eventually make Earth-616 their home, and like the X-Men, that will likely happen in a post-Avengers: Secret Wars MCU that's been softly rebooted.

Earlier today, we shared details on a new tie-in comic set in the world of The Fantastic Four: First Steps. In Deadline's report about the one-shot, it's revealed that it "confirms a few things that fans have speculated about, including that The Fantastic Four: First Steps is not an origin story, but will pick up four years after they become heroes."

It's no secret that The Fantastic Four: First Steps won't be an origin story,...

The Fantastic Four: First Steps Getting Official Tie-In Comic; First Look At Mole Man's Monster Revealed
Image
Deadline brings word that Marvel Studios and Marvel Comics are teaming up for a Fantastic Four: First Steps one-shot, which will be released in stores on July 2. This marks the first time the studio has worked with the publisher on a comic set in the world of a specific MCU movie.

To clarify, while we've had various prequels and tie-ins before (the most recent was for Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man), this comic would be available to buy in the reality that the team hails from.

Fantastic Four comic book writer Matt Fraction (Hawkeye) and artist Mark Buckingham (Fables) are teaming up on the comic, which is published by the "Future Foundation."

This in-universe artefact was created hand-in-hand with Marvel Comics and The Fantastic Four: First Steps' creative team. Production Designer Kasra Farahani was heavily involved, while Fraction was among those who visited the movie's set.

While we won't...

The Fantastic Four: First Steps Star Julia Garner On Her "Ambiguous" Silver Surfer And MCU Future - Spoilers
Image
Last year, we got confirmation that The Fantastic Four: First Steps will introduce a female take on Marvel Comics' classic space-faring hero, the Silver Surfer - but not the version of the character fans are most familiar with.

Emmy Award-winner Julia Garner will play the movie's Surfer, but not a gender-switched take on Norrin Radd. Garner will actually take on the role of Shalla-Bal.

In the original Marvel Comics continuity, Shalla-Bal was the Empress of the planet Zenn-La, and was the first love of Norrin Radd. When Galactus came to devour their planet, Radd volunteered to become his herald in exchange for sparing Zenn-La. Later, when Franklin Richards took over as the new Galactus, he imbued Shalla with the same cosmic powers and allowed her to serve as a twin herald alongside Radd.

The recent full trailer for Ff gave us a first glimpse of the Sentinel of the Spaceways in action,...

The Fantastic Four: First Steps Promo Art Reveals A New Look At Marvel's First Family Suited Up
Image
The Fantastic Four: First Steps has all the makings of Marvel Studios' most unique and perhaps best movie to date. The heroes are long overdue a reboot, especially as the 2005, 2007, and 2015 movies failed to do Marvel's First Family justice.

Now, we have some new promo art that offers a hi-res look at Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, the Human Torch, and The Thing.

Looming large in the background is the Baxter Building, with the team's iconic logo put front and centre. Will that skyscraper be added to the McU's New York post-Avengers: Secret Wars? That's the way it feels like things are headed.

Before the Fantastic Four appear in Avengers: Doomsday, they'll face Galactus and the Silver Surfer. Julia Garner plays Shalla-Bal, and recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly about her take on he character.

"I did not know that there was Shalla-Bal, for example, another form of a Silver Surfer...

George Clooney's 17-Year-Old Dark Comedy From the Coen Brothers Gets a New Streaming Home
Image
The seventeen-year-old dark comedy Burn After Reading, starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt, will soon hit a major streaming platform. The movie debuted in 2008 to critical acclaim and box office success.

Audiences will now have the opportunity to revisit or discover Burn After Reading when it hits Netflix on May 1. Written, produced, and directed by Joel and Ethan Coen, the movie follows two dimwitted gym employees, Chad Feldheimer (Pitt) and Linda Litzke (Frances McDormand), who find the misplaced memoirs of a recently jobless CIA analyst, Osborne Cox (John Malkovich).

Believing the memoirs to be classified government documents, the pair attempt to profit from them, resulting in a series of misadventures along the way. As part of the film's ensemble, Clooney plays the womanizing U.S. Marshal Harry Pfarrer, who is having an affair with Cox's wife, portrayed by Tilda Swinton. J. K. Simmons and Richard Jenkins are also featured in the film.

Prodigies: Ayo Edebiri and Will Sharpe to lead an Apple TV+ series about two former child prodigies
Image

Today, we’re hearing that two of Hollywood’s hottest stars, Ayo Edebiri and Will Sharpe, will lead Prodigies, an upcoming Apple TV+ series about two ex-child prodigies reevaluating their relationship later in life.

Behold! The Fantastic Four: First Steps Promo Art Reveals Our First Full (Low-Res) Look At The McU's Galactus
Image
Marvel Studios has only revealed a few exciting glimpses of The Fantastic Four: First Steps' Galactus, but the villain has finally been revealed (in low-res) thanks to some new promo art.

The gigantic baddie looks like he's stepped straight out of the pages of the comic books, and we can just about make out Ralph Ineson's likeness. His armour looks a little Celestian in nature, though it's hard to pick out the finer details given the poor quality of the image.

It's still a little hard to believe that we're getting a comic-accurate Galactus, especially after Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer infamously transformed him into a dust cloud back in 2007 (even though the movie featured a perfect take on the Surfer).

Also of note is a new look at the Baxter Building. As you can see, it's emblazoned with the "4" logo and promises to dominate the skyline...
