‘Night Stalker': Who Was Frank Salerno, the Detective Who Helped Catch Richard Ramirez?
Netflix’s chilling true-crime documentary series “Night Stalker” debuted Jan. 13, and tells the story of the law-enforcement officers who caught and apprehended Richard Ramirez, a serial killer and rapist who was active in California during the 1980s.

Salerno was a coordinator of the task force created to find and arrest Ramirez. Salerno is now retired, but he served on the Sheriff’s Department force for over three decades.

Ramirez was eventually caught and brought to justice in August 1985, and convicted of 13 counts of murder, five attempted murders, 11 sexual assaults and 14 burglaries. He was sentenced to death in the gas chamber, after what was one of the most expensive trials in California history (second to the O.J. Simpson murder case which took place later in 1994). Kim Kardashian has us missing the '90s. On Friday, Dec. 4, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star took to Instagram and shared an epic throwback of herself and sister Kourtney Kardashian. In the image, Kim and Kourtney oozed '90s vibes thanks to their precisely tweezed eyebrows. Oh, and we can't forget to give the Skims founder's hair clips and colorful eyeshadow a shout out. How about Kourtney's sunglasses? Those are certainly back in-style. Alongside the throwback photo, the mother of four wrote, "Coolness." The Mandalorian: Horatio Sanz’s Mythrol Brings SNL Spirit to Star Wars

The Mandalorian: Horatio Sanz’s Mythrol Brings SNL Spirit to Star Wars
This article contains spoilers for The Mandalorian season 2 episode 4.

Though Disney+’s first Star Wars live-action series The Mandalorian is only a year old, the series is already starting to circle back on its own mythology. In season 2 episode 4 “The Siege,” the show brings back a secondary character who factored heavily into the series’ very first scene.

That’s right: Horatio Sanz’s “The Mythrol” is back and he’s just as useless as ever. Longtime Mando fans will remember Sanz’s unnamed Mythrol as the first bounty that the show’s titular bounty hunter collected. After saving the Mythrol’s life from a group of trawlers, Din Djarin a.k.a. The Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal) went ahead and captured the amphibious rogue himself. The Mythrol was encased in carbonite Han Solo-style and handed over to the Bounty Hunters’ Guild.

When the Mythrol pops up again in “The Siege,” he

‘SNL’: Donald Trump Jr. Takes Father On O.J. Simpson-Style Escape From The White House
Saturday Night Live continues to have a field day with the results of the 2020 presidential election, with numerous skits about Donald Trump’s eventual departure from the White House. On Saturday night, the SNL team gave the reality television star’s exit an O.J. Simpson spin.

Ego Nwodim and Dave Chappelle portrayed two Washington, D.C. newscasters tracking down a car chase originating from the White House. Upon turning to the “live” footage of the president on the highway, SNL shows the infamous clip of Simpson’s White Ford Bronco speeding down the highway as police chase after him, with Donald Trump Jr. taking the wheel.

“This is a volatile situation. If they spook the president, he could unleash an army of Proud Boys and flag-waving trucks,” Chappelle’s newscaster warns. “He’s like Aquaman but instead of fish he could summon the entire parking lot of a Cracker Barrel.

‘SNL’ Dave Chappelle Hosts Post-Election Episode Full of Topical Sketches, Surprise Visit
Saturday Night Live’s Nov. 7 episode hosted by Dave Chappelle touched on the recent 2020 presidential election results, which were called earlier in the day in favor of former vice president Joe Biden.

Some sketches ignored current political events though, including one centered on Super Mario Bros. Another sketch spoofed a local news program about a freak hailstorm that turned into a local love story.

Other sketches were more topical. One compared Trump leaving the White House to the infamous O.J. Simpson car chase.

After his monologue, Chappelle introduced the first sketch of the episode as being about Black Americans losing ...

‘Scream’ killers ranked: Every villain who donned the Ghostface costume from worst to best [Spoilers]
The “Scream” franchise wasn’t just a series of slasher movies, it was also a collection of murder mysteries as the audience tried to suss out who kept donning the iconic Ghostface costume to hack away at new groups of teens and coeds. Of course, after several films, trying to keep the killer reveal fresh and exciting was a challenge. How do you top the last psycho and their motive? As a result, the plots often tied themselves in knots coming up with novel schemes, sometimes to a fault. Below, I’ve ranked the “Scream” movie killers from worst to best. Do you agree with my rankings?

The original 1996 film was groundbreaking in its deconstruction of the horror genre. More broadly, it popularized all of pop culture commenting on itself as a group of teenagers found themselves in a slasher movie while already familiar with the tropes and cliches of slasher movies.

‘Crip Camp’: Support from critics and the Obamas could help Netflix earn its 2nd consecutive Best Documentary Oscar
Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution” debuted this past January at the Sundance Film Festival, earning a heap of critical raves and the coveted Audience Award. The film then debuted on Netflix in March and could be the latest Netflix doc to contend for Best Documentary Feature at the Oscars. Netflix has done very well in that category with a total of nine nominations in six years, including wins for 2017’s “Icarus” and last year‘s “American Factory.” The latter film shares a little something in common with “Crip Camp”: both are executive produced by Barack and Michelle Obama. Could a Netflix-Obama pairing go two-for-two at the Oscars?

"Absolutely 100 Percent Not Guilty": 25 Bizarre Things You Forgot About the O.J. Simpson Murder Trial

How time flies when the world's gone mad. Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman were killed outside the front door of her Los Angeles condo while her children slept upstairs in June of 1994, a sickening crime that led to one of the defining cultural happenings of the late 20th century: People of the State of California v.
