Charlotte Huggins is a producer with over 25 years experience, the last 15 of which she has spent specializing in 3-D live action and animated productions. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Producer's Guild of America New Media Council. Huggins has produced over a dozen Imax, special venue and feature films in 3-D including Journey to the Center of the Earth and Journey 2: The Mysterious Island for Warner Bros./New Line and Walden Media. She is developing the 3rd installment in the Journey franchise for WB/New Line.
She served as producer on the dramatic film featuring the world-renowned band Metallica and starring Dane Dehaan, Metallica Through the Never, which earned her a 2014 Grammy nomination for Best Music Film. She produced the recently released special venue thrill ride Power of Nature for the Wanda Wuhan Movie Theme Park. Prior to that, she has produced seven IMAX feature films, including long-running hit Thrill Ride: The Science of Fun, which was distributed by her company nWave Pictures, and over 30 3D/4D attraction and ride films still paying in theme parks and location based entertainment venues around the world.
Huggins was a founding member of Board of Directors of he Producers Guild New Media Council, the Visual Effects Society and the International 3D Society. She was featured in the Daily Variety 2008 Women's Impact Report and The 2008 Hollywood Reporter's "Digital 50"- a group comprised of producers and innovators who distinguished themselves in the realm of new media storytelling.
