Franklin Cover was born on November 20, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA as Franklin Edward Cover. He was an actor, known for Wall Street (1987), The Stepford Wives (1975) and The Jeffersons (1975). He was married to Mary Bradford Stone. He died on February 5, 2006 in Englewood, New Jersey, USA.

His career spanned four decades in show business.
Cover attended Denison University, graduating in 1951. He was one of 12 members of the Denison Players, a troupe who acted as an exchange group first around the United Kingdom in the summer of 1953, and then around U.S. military bases in Europe and East Asia from 1954 to 1958.
Son Bradford is a 1985 graduate of Milton Academy.
