Vernon Dixon

Vernon Dixon was a British set decorator. He won three Academy Awards in the category of Best Art Direction for Oliver! in 1968, Nicholas and Alexandra in 1971 and most notably Barry Lyndon in 1975. Vernon Dixon started his carrier in 1946 with Green for Danger and retired in 1977. He died on 14 June 2009. See full bio »
