Trivia:

He expanded his 1965 role as "Bestoink Dooley" in a small film about Bigfoot made at the Stone Mountain Park in Georgia into a fondly-remembered television series role as a Friday night horror show host of that name on Atlanta's WAGA television in the 1960s and early seventies. Later on he owned a theatre in Atlanta which specialized in art films.
