George Ellis was born in 1919 in Newport News, Virginia, USA as George Albert Ellis Jr. He was an actor, known for Honey Britches (1971), Moonrunners (1975) and The Legend of Blood Mountain (1965). He died in 1983 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

Trivia (1)

He expanded his 1965 role as "Bestoink Dooley" in a small film about Bigfoot made at the Stone Mountain Park in Georgia into a fondly-remembered television series role as a Friday night horror show host of that name on Atlanta's WAGA television in the 1960s and early seventies. Later on he owned a theatre in Atlanta which specialized in art films.
