Fresh off Nosferatu being nominated for four Academy Awards, Bloody Disgusting is excited to announce that visionary director Robert Eggers has hand-selected eight movies that influenced his gothic-horror hit feature for Conjuring Nosferatu: Robert Eggers Presents, an upcoming series from Film at Lincoln Center that’s being presented this February.
Presented from February 5 through February 9, the program kicks off with a special 35mm screening of Nosferatu, joined by eight films selected by Eggers as companion pieces.
“I am honored to share this collection of films that inspired my adaptation of Nosferatu,” Eggers said in a statement. “It’s a world of Gothic Romance, fairy tales, and folklore, made by filmmakers with a passion to transport the audience to another time, another place, and another way of thinking and believing.”

Robert Eggers' Nosferatu proved to be a huge success for Focus Features, and the acclaimed filmmaker is staying with the studio - and firmly in the horror genre - for his next project.
THR reports that Eggers is set to helm Werwulf, which he also co-wrote with fellow The Northman scribe Sjón.
Just in case the title didn't give it away, this will be a werewolf movie. Plot details are few and far between, but THR notes that the story will be set in 13th century England. "The script also features dialogue that was true to the time period and has translations and annotations for those uninitiated to Old English."
It remains to be seen if the werewolf will be rocking a moustache.
Apparently, Eggers was initially planning to shoot the film in black and white, before deciding against it.

Continuing its relationship with filmmaker Robert Eggers, Focus Features will produce and finance his next film, “Werwulf,” according to an insider with knowledge of the project.
The film will be released in North America on Christmas Day, 2026. “Werwulf” follows the release of the tremendously successful film “Nosferatu,” which quickly became the biggest non-sequel Horror opening in 2024.
“Werwulf” is written by Eggers and Sjón (“The Northman”), with Eggers set to direct. Both Eggers and Sjón will produce alongside Focus Features, with Maiden Voyage’s Chris and Eleanor Columbus executive producing.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, which first reported the news, “while details are scarce, sources say the story is set in 13th century England.”
“Nosferatu” is an adaptation of the 1922 silent movie classic, itself a loose adaptation of Bram Stoker’s “Dracula,” with a starry cast that includes Lily-Rose Depp, Bill Skarsgård, Nicholas Hoult, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, Ralph Ineson, Simon McBurney and Willem Dafoe.

After putting his own spin on one of the most famous vampire stories of all time, horror's biggest history nerd is about to go even further into the annals of the past: The Hollywood Reporter has just revealed that Robert Eggers' next project is going to be set in the 13th century, and is due out around Christmas 2026. Naturally, this one will be about werewolves.
The movie is set to be called "Werwulf," and in addition to directing it, "Nosferatu" and "The Witch" filmmaker Eggers is also co-writing the script with Sjón, the Icelandic poet, author, and screenwriter who helped pen "The Northman" in 2022. Despite exploring a more monochromatic color palette with last year's "Nosferatu," THR reports that Eggers has decided to shoot the upcoming film in color after initially planning a black-and-white shoot. He also appears to be getting back to his deeply geeky historically-informed roots, as the outlet's...

“Nosferatu” is a horror movie starring Lily-Rose Depp, Bill Skarsgård, Nicholas Hoult, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Willem Dafoe. It is written and directed by Robert Eggers.
In the realm of remakes, “Nosferatu” emerges as a striking homage to F.W. Murnau’s 1922 silent classic, “Nosferatu”. Directed by Robert Eggers, this modern interpretation of Bram Stoker’s “Dracula” manages to walk the tightrope between reverence for its source material and contemporary cinematic sensibilities.
Eggers’ vision is steeped in the aesthetic of German expressionism, a bold choice in today’s film landscape. The movie’s visual language is a feast for the eyes, with stark contrasts, distorted perspectives, and haunting shadows that echo the original’s iconic imagery. This stylistic approach serves as both a nod to film history and a refreshing departure from conventional horror cinematography.

After tackling vampires with Nosferatu, filmmaker Robert Eggers is taking on another horror creature genre in his own inimitable style.
Eggers has co-written Werwulf, a werewolf horror project that he will direct as his next feature.
Focus Features, Universal’s art house division which released and financed Nosferatu, is back in business with the filmmaker for Werwulf. The company has dated the thriller for a North America release on Christmas Day, 2026. The parties are hoping for more holiday greetings as Nosferatu was also released on Christmas Day and went on to become an improbable hit.
Eggers wrote Werwulf with Sjón, who co-wrote heady Viking saga The Northman with the filmmaker. While details are scarce, sources say the story is set in 13th century England. The script also features dialogue that was true to the time period and has translations and annotations for those uninitiated in Old English.

The Witch, The Lighthouse, and The Northman writer/director Robert Eggers‘ remake of F.W. Murnau’s 1922 silent classic Nosferatu (watch it Here) made its way out into theatres last month and has stirred up a lot of positive reactions, with JoBlo’s own Chris Bumbray even describing the film as a new horror classic in his 10/10 review. While the look of the title character was kept under wraps in the build-up to the film’s release, now that the movie has been out in the world for a month and has even received a digital release, Focus Feature has decided to start selling 6 foot tall standees of the Count. You can check out an image of the standee at the bottom of this article, and you can buy your own Count Orlok standee at This Link for $49.95.

Now that Robert Eggers‘ Nosferatu is available on Digital, Bill Skarsgård‘s appearance as Count Orlok no longer has to be shrouded in mystery.
In fact, Focus Features has released a life-size standee of the mustachioed bloodsucker for $45.95.
Made in the USA, the cardboard cut-out stands 72″ tall and 39″ wide.
A reimagination of F.W. Murnau‘s 1922 silent horror classic, Nosferatu is a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire infatuated with her, causing untold horror in its wake.
Skarsgård stars with Nicholas Hoult, Lily-Rose Depp, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, and Willem Dafoe.
Meagan Navarro wrote in her 5-skull review, “It’s so impeccably crafted, boasting production design and values rarely seen in horror like this, without sacrificing the taboo-pushing, visceral horror in the process. It’s operatic and dramatic, bold and revolting, with a powerful final shot for the ages. And Eggers’ Nosferatu happens to be set over Christmas.

Bill Skarsgard has “never been more scared in playing a character” than Count Orlok in ‘Nosferatu’.While the 34-year-old actor has portrayed the terrifying Pennywise the Clown in the two ‘It’ movies, Skarsgard has insisted his vampire in the 2025 horror flick is far more frightening to him.In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he said: “I’ve done this sort of transformative performance before, but none quite like this.“I’ve never been more scared in playing a character than playing Orlok.”Skarsgard’s co-star Nicholas Hoult added being around the actor while he is the vampire is “so intimidating”.He said: “It’s something that is so intimidating and fully realised and horrific that is incredible to see, and also terrifying to also be around.”For the role, Skarsgard worked with an opera singer to achieve the low, menacing voice director Robert Eggers wanted Orlok to have. The filmmaker...

‘Nosferatu’ (2024) is a gothic horror film directed by Robert Eggers. It’s a remake of the 1922 silent movie ‘Nosferatu,’ which was based on the novel ‘Dracula’ by Bram Stoker. The film stars Bill Skarsgård as the vampire Count Orlok, with Nicholas Hoult and Lily-Rose Depp playing a married couple, the Hutters.
Other actors include Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, Ralph Ineson, Simon McBurney, and Willem Dafoe. The movie turned out to be a somewhat unconventional holiday hit. Nosferatu premiered on December 2, 2024, in Berlin, Germany. It was released in the U.S. on December 25, 2024, and internationally on January 1, 2025.
Many reviewers have applauded Robert Eggers’ direction, calling the movie both thrilling and visually striking. Specifically, Depp’s performance, noting that her role added to the film’s “spellbinding power,” and praised how the film explores the tension between historical mores and timeless human desires.

James Gunn is “pre-writing [his] next DC Studios project”.While the 58-year-old director is currently busy working on the post-production of his 2025 blockbuster ‘Superman’ and the second season of the Max show ‘Peacemaker’, Gunn has teased he has started to turn his attention to what he will be doing next in the DC Universe (Dcu).Taking to Threads, the DC Studios boss wrote: “The bulk of my time is dealing with post-production on ‘Superman’ and ‘Peacemaker’, but I’m also spending a fair amount of time pre-writing my next DC Studios project and watching dailies and offering ideas on the other projects.“It’s much less overwhelming than when I was directing.”Gunn previously teased he had about “four different things that [he] could do” once work on ‘Superman’ was finished.Speaking with Collider, he said: “I've got like four different things that I could do, and I'm going to kind of...

There’s more of Nosferatu for fans to sink their teeth into now that the surprise box-office hit has scored a home media release.
On Tuesday, Focus Features announced that an extended edition of Robert Eggers’ Gothic horror success is now available for rental or purchase at digital providers like Amazon ahead of the film’s physical media release next month.
The extended version of Nosferatu, which includes less than four minutes of previously unseen footage, will also be available on 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD beginning Feb. 18. The home media release features a director’s commentary from Eggers and a multi-part documentary on the making of the filmmaker’s passion project.
In an interview earlier this month with Gold Derby, Eggers said he valued owning a film on physical media mainly because he learned so much about being a director from DVD and Blu-ray special features.

DC Studios Co-CEO James Gunn has clarified the complex canonical status of his previous DC projects, establishing that only content starting with the animated series “Creature Commandos” will be considered “pure canon” in the new DC Universe (Dcu).
In a recent statement on Bluesky, Gunn addressed mounting questions about continuity in the Dcu, particularly regarding his earlier works “The Suicide Squad” and “Peacemaker.” The filmmaker introduced a nuanced approach to canon, describing his 2021 film “The Suicide Squad” as an “imperfect memory” while noting that “Peacemaker” remains “almost entirely consistent” with the new universe’s canon, barring its Justice League connections.
“Short answer: Only Creature Commandos forward is pure canon,” Gunn explained. To illustrate this point, he referenced a specific plot element: “Rick Flag Jr was killed because we heard Rick Flag Sr talking about it in Creature Commandos, not because we saw it in The Suicide Squad.”

Focus Features has announced that an extended cut of Robert Eggers' Nosferatu is now available to purchase on Digital platforms.
Unfortunately, this version will only include an additional four minutes of footage, although some deleted scenes are also available as part of the bonus content.
The critically-acclaimed gothic horror remake is also still in theaters, and recently passed $150 million worldwide on a reported production budget of $50 million.
In addition to a new featurette, the studio has unveiled an official Count Orlok standee, which gives us our clearest look yet (aside from some leaked screenshots) of Bill Skarsgård as the dreaded vampire.

Having worked on the likes of The Witch and The Lighthouse, Robert Eggers is no stranger to making critically acclaimed flicks that leave fans yearning for more (and with a lot to introspect). Nosferatu was no different.
The Lily-Rose Depp starrer was one of the better films that hit the theatres last year, going on to give fans a chilly reminder of the Og Nosferatu that was released in 1922. The movie fared decently well, going on to rake in a 84% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. And it is back in the news. But for all the wrong reasons.

In news that I feel like most of us already knew but which is now "confirmed," The Hollywood Reporter has it that Milly Alcock, who played Young Rhaenyra Targaryen in the first season of HBO's Game of Thrones prequel series House of the Dragon, will appear as Superman's cousin Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl, in the upcoming Superman movie, which lands in theaters on July 11, 2025. She'll likely only show up for a cameo, but she'll be there, alongside other DC heroes like Metamorpho (Anthony Carrigan), Mister Terrific (Edi Gathegi), Green Lantern (Nathan Fillion), and Hawkgirl (Isabela Merced).
Some fans worry that the movie is overloading itself with characters. This movie is supposed to be about Superman, right? It makes sense that folks like Lois Lane (Rachel Brosnahan) and Lex Luthor (Nicholas Hoult) will show up, but who are all these other people?

Filmmaker Robert Eggers delivered a daring new take on the iconic Count Orlok in Nosferatu and, understandably, the undead vampire's appearance was kept under wraps leading up to the movie's release.
We've since seen a few blurry shots of Bill Skarsgård's grotesque blood-sucker but now have officially released footage of the Count in all his horrifying glory. That's thanks to a featurette exploring the It and Eternals star's transformation into one of the most iconic movie monsters in history.
The mustache remains a point of contention for many horror fans, though as Eggers has pointed out in multiple interviews, it made sense to head down that route with the nightmare-inducing Transylvania nobleman. In fact, Orlok looking so real is what makes him so scary in this remake.

A Nosferatu behind-the-scenes video shows what the Count Orlok prosthetics looked like on set. Bill Skarsgård, who is known for his role as Pennywise in the It movies, plays Count Orlok in Robert Eggers' remake of the iconic horror film. The physical appearance of Skarsgård's Nosferatu character was intentionally left out of the movie's marketing in order to maintain mystery and intrigue about what Count Orlok would look like in Eggers' version of the story.
Entertainment Weekly has now shared the behind-the-scenes video that reveals Skarsgård wearing the prosthetics and what they looked like during filming. Skarsgård explains that while he has played transformative characters before, Count Orlok is the most transformative character that he has played yet in his career. Nicholas Hoult, who plays Thomas Hutter, emphasizes that the prosthetics are part of what made Count Orlok "incredible to see, and also terrifying to be around."

The film has been doing well at the box office, earning more than $155 million at the global box office so far, and it’s expected to reach the $100 million mark at the domestic box office by the time its theatrical run has come to an end… but now, viewers will be able to check it out in the comfort of their own homes, as Nosferatu has been given a digital release today! For example, you can now watch the film on Amazon, where it’s available to rent for $19.99 or purchase for $24.99. A...

Henry Cavill’s Superman replacement, David Corenswet, has appeared in quite a few interesting roles before his Dcu entry. One of these roles was in the Netflix political drama, House of Cards, which starred Kevin Spacey. By the time Corenswet made his only appearance in the penultimate episode, Spacey was fired from the show after his legal troubles.

Corenswet’s character in the series was not fond of Spacey’s character at all. The same would’ve happened in DC if their characters were to meet. While Corenswet plays the Man of Steel in James Gunn’s Superman, Spacey played villain Lex Luthor in Bryan Singer’s Superman Returns.

Warner Bros. Discovery and CEO David Zaslav is on a downward spiral in terms of satisfying both fans like me and key creators. The studio earned the wrath of fans and filmmakers alike when they announced that films would be released on streaming on the same day as their theatrical release right after the pandemic under the leadership of Zaslav.
Now, the CEO’s treatment of legendary filmmaker Clint Eastwood’s supposed last film Juror #2 has been nothing short of insulting. Despite being one of the best films of the year, the Nicholas Hoult starrer was released in only 30 and odd centers with little marketing efforts from the studio. The absolute disregard for a legend like Eastwood makes me feel that Zaslav is not going to take any good creative decisions in the future.

With films like “The Witch” (2015) and “The Lighthouse” (2019), filmmaker Robert Eggers has already strengthened his reputation as a critically celebrated auteur. And in “Nosferatu” (2024), he replaces the expressionist wonder of “Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror” (1922) with the somber moodiness of his craft that shapes up the fictional town of 1830s Germany, called Wisburg, which is unaware of the oncoming of evil. In it resides realtor Thomas Hutter (Nicholas Hoult) and his newlywed wife, Ellen Hutter (Lily-Rose Depp). There’s also their friends Friedrich Harding (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), a rich merchant, and Anna Harding (Emma Corrin), who are happily married to each other with two daughters.
“Nosferatu” (2024) is dark and aggressively sensual but Eggers’ vision of the material is more of a treatise on power and evil. He makes the classic story of a real estate agent, Thomas Hutter, going up to the Pennsylvanian hills to secure a property deal with the...

Bird and Fish Tank director Andrea Arnold plans to make the long-discussed FBI thriller Featherwood, starring Scarlett Johansson, as her next movie.
Indie director Andrea Arnold returned to her home turf in Kent to shoot Bird, the acclaimed drama (starring Barry Keoghan) released last year. If all goes to plan, she could be heading back to the United States for her next film – Featherwood, starring Scarlett Johansson.
In an interview with Screen Daily (via World Of Reel), Arnold reportedly said that, while a production date hasn’t been announced yet, she’s been on a location scouting tour in Texas.
Word of Featherwood – and Johansson’s attachment – first began to circulate last February. It’s based on the true-life story of Carol Blevins, the ‘property’ of a white supremacist gang member who became an FBI informant in a wide-ranging investigation in the 2000s. Nosferatu, the 2024 remake of the 1922 horror film directed by Robert Eggers, has surpassed $155 million in global box office earnings. Starring Bill Skarsgård as Count Orlok, Nosferatu follows a 1830s estate agent, Thomas Hutter (Nicholas Hoult), who travels to Transylvania to meet Count Orlok, leaving his wife Ellen (Lily-Rose Depp) to face a malevolent force that threatens her life. Nosferatu has received generally positive reviews, and has been praised for its unsettling visuals and atmospheric tone. Moreover, the film has been nominated for various accolades for the 2024-2025 awards season so far, such as 5 BAFTA awards and 4 Critics' Choice awards.
According to The Numbers, Nosferatu’s box office performance stands out in the notoriously crowded marketplace of horror films. Heading into the long weekend, Universal’s “Wolf Man” reboot was projected to climb to No. 1 on domestic box office charts. Yet Sony’s “One of Them Days,” an R-rated buddy comedy starring Keke Palmer and Sza, may have the last laugh.
“One of Them Days” opened at No. 2 on the higher end of expectations with $11.6 million from 2,675 North American venues over the weekend and an estimated $14 million through the extended Martin Luther King Jr. holiday frame. Against a trim $14 million budget, the well-reviewed funny film is shaping up to be a major commercial win for Sony. Meanwhile “Wolf Man” debuted below forecasts, in third place with $10.5 million from 3,354 theaters over the weekend and an estimated $12 million through the holiday on Monday. The movie cost just $25 million to produce, which should be a relief to the studio because critics and audiences weren’t fans of the horror remake. “Wolf Man...

Our next look at Superman should be with us as soon as next month (you can read more about that here) but a new standee has been spotted today at the Bengaluru Comic Con in India.
The 3D effect appears to be a nod to Superman: The Movie as filmmaker James Gunn continues to wear that inspiration on his sleeve with the first DC Studios movie.
Richard Donner's beloved classic has been pivotal in the journeys of many comic book movie writers and directors; it's no secret that it ranks among Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige's favourite movies, for example.
When it comes to Superman, Gunn embracing the 1978 classic's tone for his movie will be welcomed by those who didn't appreciate Zack Snyder's moodier take on the Man of Steel in the Dceu. After all, the "S" on the hero's chest is meant to stand for hope!

The voting period for Oscar nominees this year has ended and there might be a surprise for Clint Eastwood fans. While his latest and potentially last film, Juror No. 2, did not make it to anyone’s top 5 prediction list, Academy voters show more interest in the film. The film explores the moral dilemma of a juror when he finds out that he could’ve accidentally killed the victim in the case.

The film might surprise everyone with a surprise Best Picture nomination, as voters would want to honor the legendary filmmaker. If it happens, it would be a major shame for Warner Bros. who tried to tank the film with a limited release. Nosferatu continues to sink its teeth into the domestic box office, becoming the second highest-grossing movie for its studio. The remake of the classic 1927 silent film has posted strong numbers, both domestically and internationally, and the movie is generating significant buzz for the awards season. The movie, which stars Bill Skarsgård, Lily-Rose Depp, Nicholas Hoult, and long-time Robert Eggers collaborator Willem Dafoe, has enjoyed a strong theatrical run, helping it to set a record for its studio.
According to Deadline, Nosferatu's domestic gross has now seen it become the second-highest-grossing movie of all-time for studio Focus Features, moving ahead of the acclaimed Oscar-winning movie Brokeback Mountain, which took $83 million domestically. It ranks behind only the Downton Abbey movie, which took a staggering $96.8 million during its run in 2019, making it the studio's most successful movie ever. Nosferatu also ranks as the studio's seventh highest-grossing movie globally, with over $142 million worldwide.

James Gunn's Superman trailer included a beautiful tribute to John Williams' iconic theme, but I hope Gunn doesn't ignore another composer who has an important role in Superman's DC legacy. 1978's Superman: The Movie is arguably the birth of the superhero genre. Christopher Reeve's live-action version of Superman made viewers believe a man could fly, and the film is still seen as a landmark of cinematic spectacle. One of the film's most memorable aspects is its excellent score, created by Williams, adding to his legendary discography.
His theme is still synonymous with the hero almost 50 years later. It was reused in 2006's Superman Returns and an essential part of Superman's first trailer. However, it wasn't used in 2013's Man of Steel, as Zack Snyder's films in the Dceu timeline had a different tone than the Richard Donner Superman films. Hans Zimmer composed the score for Man of Steel,...

Exclusive: If there’s one takeaway from the holiday box office season, audiences couldn’t quit Focus Features’ period gothic horror movie Nosferatu.
The Robert Eggers-directed title is now the Universal specialty label’s second highest-grossing release at the domestic box office at $84.4 million, overtaking 2005’s three-time Oscar winner Brokeback Mountain ($83M) and ranking behind the studio’s top-grossing title ever, 2019’s Downton Abbey ($96.8M). On a global basis, Nosferatu ranks as Focus’ seventh highest-grossing title with north of $142M worldwide.
Also noteworthy, Nosferatu is reaching its great heights at the B.O. sans award noms from the Golden Globes or Oscars (which have yet to be announced) or festival buzz; such lynchpins were in part responsible for the breakout success of 2005’s Brokeback Mountain, Ang Lee’s gay-themed Western.
Focus also has bragging rights in that Nosferatu beats the domestic haul of any title, including horror, when compared with its specialty rival A24.

Robert Eggers is taking the concept of a bloody Valentine quite literally for an upcoming program at New York City’s Film at Lincoln Center. The auteur has curated a nine-film lineup for “Conjuring ‘Nosferatu’: Robert Eggers Presents,” which will take place February 5 through 9. Eggers has selected a series of films to screen, all of which influenced his latest Gothic horror film, “Nosferatu,” which will have a special 35mm screening as part of the series.
“I am honored to share this collection of films that inspired my adaptation of ‘Nosferatu,’” Eggers said in a press statement. “It’s a world of Gothic romance, fairy tales, and folklore, made by filmmakers with a passion to transport the audience to another time, another place, and another way of thinking and believing.”
Eggers picked a slew of 20th century international features, including iconic films like Jean Cocteau’s 1946 version of “Beauty and the Beast...

The worldbuilding in Mad Max: Fury Road is one of its greatest strengths, with an entire culture being conveyed within the movie's runtime. The movie is one of the most successful franchise reboots of all time, with Mad Max: Fury Road getting a 97% positive critical score from Rotten Tomatoes and reviving the Mad Max franchise. The movie is unusual in the Mad Max universe, as while Max is the titular hero, the eccentric characters and standout performances of their actors have overshadowed Max Rockatansky. One of these is Nux, the War Boy played by Nicholas Hoult.
The main antagonist in Mad Max: Fury Road is Immortan Joe, whose terrifying appearance and control of the Citadel make him one of the best Mad Max villains seen so far. There are several ranks and titles in the Citadel's community, and the War Boys have the role of Immortan Joe's personal army.

Last Friday, stylists-to-the-stars Elizabeth Stewart and Jordan Grossman — who founded the nonprofit Chic Relief during the pandemic — were packing pieces for five personal friends who lost their homes in the fires. The idea was to help them rebuild their closets after they’d lost everything. “And we thought, ‘You know what? We think we can do this for a lot more people!'” says Stewart.
In the days since, Stewart and Grossman have launched an ambitious effort to clothe and assist hundreds of families who lost everything in the Los Angeles fires. They’re not alone. A growing network of stylists, celebrities, Hollywood executives and creatives have joined in (or are working on their own) to extend the reach of relief efforts.

The past year has arguably been the biggest year for the Hollywood actor Nicholas Hoult, who further showcased his depth as an actor in several movies like Juror No. 2, Nosferatu, and The Order. And the latter featured him in a standout role as the leader of a neo-Nazi terrorist group, Bob Mathews.

Robert Eggers' next film could perhaps be the biggest movie of his career after Nosferatu's critical and commercial success. All of Robert Eggers' movies, such as The Witch, The Lighthouse, The Northman, and most recently, Nosferatu, have been critically acclaimed. Eggers has proven that he is one of the most creative directors currently working, and Nosferatu is his most successful movie yet. Reviews for Nosferatu have been exceptional, and the film currently has a score of 85% on Rotten Tomatoes (via Rotten Tomatoes). Beyond its ratings, Nosferatu has also performed very well at the box office.
The story of Nosferatu follows a vampire who becomes obsessed with a recently married woman and leaves his castle in Transylvania to be with her. The cast of Nosferatu includes Bill Skarsgård, Lily-Rose Depp, Nicholas Hoult, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, and Willem Dafoe. In Nosferatu, Skarsgård is unrecognizable as the sinister vampire Count Orlok.

The first official poster for James Gunn's Superman was released along with the trailer last month, and featured a striking shot of David Corenswet taking flight as the Dcu's Man of Steel.
A new teaser for the movie is expected to debut during the Puppy Bowl in February, but it'll probably be another while before Warner Bros./DC Studios begin the marketing campaign with more one-sheets.
For now, we have two impressive fan-made efforts for you to take a look at.
The first seems to be inspired by a similar-looking poster that was released for Zack Snyder's Man of Steel back in 2013, while the second shows our new Man of Tomorrow standing in his Fortress of Solitude.

Universal and Blumhouse’s “Wolf Man” reboot and the Keke Palmer-led comedy “One of Them Days” will contend for the top slot on box office charts over the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend.
Regardless of which lands in first, neither are expected to break out in what’s shaping up to be another quiet weekend for North American cinemas. “Wolf Man” is poised to open to $17 million to $21 million from 3,300 venues over the four-day frame, while “One of Them Days” looks to collect $8 million to $13 million from 2,650 theaters between Friday and Monday.
Universal and Sony each canceled the premieres of “Wolf Man” and “One of Them Days” due to the fires and extreme winds in Los Angeles. In terms of moviegoing, though, attendance doesn’t appear to be affected by the devastating wildfires that continued to ravage though parts of Los Angeles, one of the biggest theatrical markets in the country.
