- Was a Mystery Science Theater 3000 (1988) fan from before the show aired Manos: The Hands of Fate (1966). Neyman was watching the show when the Manos episode first aired, and was highly surprised to see his own extremely obscure movie, which he had not seen since the 1966 premiere, featured in it.
- He helped in designing and building the rigging that gave John Reynolds' character Torgo his trademark misshapen knees in Manos: The Hands of Fate (1966). He also painted the self-portrait that hung in the living room and made the iron sculptures of hands that appeared in the film.
- His daughter, Jackey Neyman Jones, played the daughter Debbie in Manos: The Hands of Fate (1966). His wife designed all the costumes for that film, and Jackey's dog Shanka played the devil dog.
- He later moved with his daughter to California, and eventually to the Pacific Northwest.
- Father of Jackey Neyman Jones.
