Vuguru has ordered up a second season of the series The Booth at the End, premiering exclusively in the U.S. on Hulu and Hulu Plus, in Canada on Citytv.com and two additional Rogers Media offerings, and in various territories online and on TV this fall through Fox International Channels.
The psychological thriller created by writer Christopher Kubasik and directed by Adam Arkin (Justified, Sons of Anarchy) stars Xander Berkeley (Kick-Ass) as "The Man" who can give people what they want, for a price.
The mysterious man who sits in a booth at the end of the diner is back. He can grant you any wish you want, but always for a price. Some wander into the diner looking for redemption, others for love or a miracle cure. No matter the wish, if they want it to come true, they will have to complete whatever challenge the Man gives them.

There’s no question that online video has made great strides in 2011. Online video sites enjoyed record viewership and more ambitious programs than ever originated on the Web, garnering the kind of national media attention historically reserved for network TV. In its most recent Video Metrix report, comScore reported that during the month of November, 83 million U.S. Internet users watched online video content, or an average of 20.5 hours per viewer. The total U.S. Internet audience viewed 40.9 billion videos—a figure that speaks volumes to the prevalence of online video and the growing opportunities that lay ahead for both content creators and advertisers. This shift in consumer behavior and the emergence of short-form digital programming has enabled the development of innovative, talent-driven digital content such as Dbg’s The Confession starring Kiefer Sutherland and Christopher Kubasik’s Booth at the End—not to mention the announcement that Netflix is...

Like always, Comic Con International is revealing the schedule of events day by day. It certainly makes planning a lot easier. But that's neither here nor there. There's a lot of panels to cover, so let's just get to it. Check out the pertinent film and television panels set for the first two days of the show after the jump.
The first "day" of the show is Preview Night only, so there's only a couple things happening that night:

We're less than two weeks away from the 2011 San Diego Comic Con, and convention organizers have finally released the schedule for the first day of programing. You can find the full schedule on comic-con.org [1], or after the jump I've listed the film and television highlights, which includes the Masters of the Web panel which I've been invited to be a panelist on (In full disclosure, I've been asked to be on this panel for a few years now, but I've only just recently gotten over my fear of speaking in front of large audiences). It should be a fun panel, and I hear they will be giving away some really cool prizes as well. Michael Eisner's media studio, Vuguru, inks an investment and distribution partnership with Canadian broadcaster and publisher Rogers Media. The deal sees Vuguru, which had been house under Eisner's The Tornante Company, become a stand-alone entity with Eisner serving as Chairman if its board. No word on who will head up Vuguru. Under the long-term distribution part of the deal, Rogers gets the exclusive Canadian rights to future Vuguru projects. Vuguru plans to grow its offerings under the agreement to produce 30 series a year, while continuing to work with sponsors and distribution platforms. With 10-15 new series on the 2010 slate, upcoming projects include: Prom Queen: The Homecoming, the follow-up to the teen-targeted Prom Queen; Pretty Tough, an adaptation of writer/producer Liz Tigelaar's young adult novel; and The Booth at the End, a psychological thriller (not likely for kids) from writer Christopher Kubasik and directed by Jessica Landlaw.
