Member of the 'Official Competition' jury at the 57th Cannes International Film Festival in 2004.
Accompanied then girlfriend Faye Dunaway to the 1968 Academy Awards ceremonies where she was nominated in the Best Actress category for Bonnie and Clyde (1967).
