Janette Scott was born on December 14, 1938 in Morecambe, Lancashire, England as Thora Janette Scott. She is an actress and writer, known for No Highway in the Sky (1951), Invasion of the Triffids (1963) and As Long as They're Happy (1955). She has been married to William John Rademaekers since April 7, 1981. She was previously married to Mel Tormé and Jackie Rae.

Mentioned in the opening title song of The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) in reference to her appearance in Invasion of the Triffids (1963): "And I really got hot When I saw Janette Scott fight a triffid that spits poison and kills."
Wrote her autobiography at the age of 14!
