Samuel Goldwyn Films has acquired all U.S. rights to writer-director Michael McGowan’s “Still,” which had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival Monday. The specialty distributor plans a 2013 release. James Cromwell, Geneviève Bujold, Rick Roberts, Julie Stewart, Campbell Scott and Jonathan Potts star in the real-life-based story of an aging man trying to build a convenient house for his ailing wife only to have to overcome a stubborn swarm of local bureaucracy.
