Child actor, on stage from the age of 12. Acted in British films from the mid-1930's and had a postwar career on radio, stage and television. Made his niche in Australia, where he settled in the mid-1950's to become the host of several popular children's programs. He ended up in charge of children's programming at Channel Nine and eventually moved on to Reg Grundy Productions. See more »
