Rhys Thomas is an Emmy award, Rose D'or winning, BAFTA nominated English actor, comedian, writer, producer and director best known for starring in a wealth of hit British comedy shows like 'The Fast Show,' 'Star Stories,' 'Sirens', 'Down The Line', 'Nathan Barley' and the critically acclaimed BBC spoof music documentary series 'Brian Pern' which he wrote, created, starred, produced and directed.

As a documentary director/producer he won an Emmy and the Rose d'Or for Best Arts Documentary for his feature length film, 'Freddie Mercury: The Great Pretender.' He was also nominated for a BAFTA in 2013 in the Breakthrough Talent Category. He also produced 'Queen: Days of Our Lives' which was also nominated for both an Emmy and Rose d'Or in 2012.

Also known as Rhys Thomas OBE or Rhys T Thomas so not to be confused with the director Rhys Thomas (III) of Saturday Night Live/Documentary Now fame.
