Was born in the same house as Eddi Arent, who later played in several
movies with him.
Although being a popular voice actor, he ironically was dubbed by
Rolf Schult for the German release of his only appearance in an English
language movie, Funeral in Berlin (1966).
On his job: "Ich habe an die 600 Fernsehrollen gespielt. Es war immer
die gleiche Grütze." (I have played about 600 TV roles. It was always
the same trash.)
