Jeanine Barone is a New York City-based comedy screenwriter. Her short, "Such A Deal" that she co-wrote with director Dionna McMillian, was well received on the festival circuit, including the Woods Hole Film Festival. Most recently, Jeanine's short screenplay "First Position" was a runner up finalist at Woods Hole. Jeanine's feature comedy script "Sila's Style" is nominated for Best Screenplay at the Houston Comedy Film Festival, and her comedy short screenplay "Renter's Revenge" is up for Best Comedy Short, also at the Houston Comedy Film Festival. Another of her feature scripts, "By The Hour" as well as her short screenplay "Welcome To The Star Fleet" were both selected for the Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards. "By The Hour" was also selected at the Chicago Indie Film Awards. And "Welcome To The Star Fleet" was a Second Rounder at the Austin Film Festival. Jeanine has a large body of work, having written 20 short scripts and 3 features.
