Michael Keaton received a Golden Globe Award last night for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy in Birdman. During his emotional acceptance speech, the actor spoke fondly of his son, Sean Douglas, Keaton's child with his late wife, Caroline Williams. Now Keaton's sister, Joyce Douglas, has revealed more about Keaton's family life in an interview with Et. See what she had to say below...

When Michael Keaton won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy, the 63-year-old Birdman star spoke about his son, Sean Douglas, who he called his "best friend."
"My best friend is kind, intelligent, funny, talented, considerate, thoughtful — did I say kind? He also happens to be my son, Sean," Keaton said, tears in his eyes. "I love you with all my heart, buddy."
Video: Flashback: Michael Keaton Talks About His 'Distinct' & 'Definitive' Work 28 Years Ago
Keaton's speech was one of the most emotional and endearing of the evening -- next to perhaps Gina Rodriguez’s after her surprising win for Jane the Virgin -- but who exactly is Keaton's son?
Sean Douglas – who goes by his father's original surname which Keaton changed due to another already famous Michael Douglas in Hollywood – is Keaton's son with late-actress Caroline McWilliams.
Douglas, 31, really should need no introduction given his track record in the music industry. He is...

Elizabeth Banks will continue to bring her unique (see: slapsticky and funny as hell) brand of comedy to the small screen, and this time, it’s for her own show. Titled The Greater Good, ABC have picked up the series and are developing it into a single-camera comedy that the actress-director will executive produce and direct.
Banks will oversee production via her Brownstone Prods banner, along with 20th Century Fox TV, with scripting duties going to Arrested Development‘s Caroline Williams. It’s not yet known if Banks will also take a stint in front of the camera, but as she’s currently finishing up on her directorial debut Pitch Perfect 2, she might be rather enjoying time out of the spotlight. However, judging by the very brief logline we’ve got on the series and the fact that Williams is at the keys, I’d say she should definitely...

All the Warwick Davis Leprechaun movies are coming out in a new Blu Ray combo pack. The commentary tracks offer some memories of my two contributions to the guilty pleasure franchise. Here are a few more.
I grew up enjoying the absurdist humor of the Monty Python’s Flying Circus TV series. So why not Absurdist Cinema? I loved the 1941 Hellzapoppin’, an early iconic example. The concept of the mid ’90’s Leprechaun franchise was proudly ludicrous – pint sized Jason/Freddy/Chucky amalgam with an Irish twist terrorizes and kills most of the supporting cast. But he was never really scary. I decided to embrace the absurd and make it as much fun as the formula allowed.
Blue Rider Pictures, for whom I had made Night Of The Demons 2, were asked by Trimark to produce the third and, at that stage, the intended last in the series. Send the little guy to Vegas,...

Emily Goldwyn & Sasha Spielberg will write the project, and Caroline Williams will be the showrunner and executive produce along with Rashida Jones and Will McCormack. Jeff Grosvenor of Jones and McCormack’s Le Train Train will produce. The premise: Three brilliant but socially challenged girls navigate the world outside of single sex education with the help of their eccentric teachers and parents. Being a fan of comedic slasher films, the Hatchet series is something I am very fond of. Regardless of which one "is the better one". Frankly, it is irrelevant to me due simply to the fact that it's never taking itself too seriously in any of them.
With the title Hatchet, 1, 2, or 3 you simply know what you're in for when you press play. Hatchet 3 however, is the most serious one of them all. Its a gore pizza with a dash of cheese.
Following Marybeth back into the swamp, starting directly after the second film, it has the same formula as its predecessor. The trilogy actually seems more like one big film, as each one of them follows exactly where the last left off. With a new Director, Cameraman Bj McDonnell from the first two grabs the helming reigns for the third and final installment. It's...

“Lick my plate, you dog dick!”
I remember being so excited about Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 in 1986 that I actually cut the ad out of the newspaper from the weekend before and taped it onto the dashboard of my car (if facebook had been around in those days, the ad would have been my profile pic). My father had taken me and three friends to see the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre in 1974 for my 13th birthday and I had waited 12 years for the sequel. I recall being thrilled with Tom Savini’s gore effects but somewhat disappointed in how far less frightening it was than the original. I made the mistake of going into it expecting the first film. Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 was more of an 80s cheese-fest, deliberately campy and entirely insane (the fact that the poster was a spoof of The Breakfast Club should have tipped me off but...

Have you ever seen Uwe Boll's weirdo slasher flick Seed? Better yet, have you even heard of it? It doesn't matter. Do you remember a couple of weeks ago when we announced a sequel was coming? You either have a short memory or are blocking.
Either way, check out the first official one-sheet for Seed 2 below.
Dr. Boll will be serving as producer on this one with Marcel Walz directing. Caroline Williams, Christa Campbell, Nick Principe, Jared Demetri Luciano, Manoush, Natalie Scheetz, Annika Strauss, and Sarah Hayden star.
Plot details are currently under wraps, but we'd expect lots of hammering, slicing, dicing, screaming, and all around general mayhem. You gotta like that, right? That's just how these movies roll. In the first 2007 film, a seemingly undead man is bound and buried alive but digs himself back to the surface and seeks bloody vengeance on those who caused his suffering.

Although Uwe Boll’s 2007 horror flick “Seed” wasn’t one of the strongest genre efforts released by the prolific filmmaker, apparently it did well enough to warrant a sequel. Below you can find the official teaser poster for “Seed 2: The New Breed.” Instead of directing the next installment, Boll will step into the role of producer. Marcel Walz has been tapped to helm the project. Details are scarce for the moment, but it would appear that “Gutterballs” director Ryan Nicholson is tackling special effects duties on the follow-up. Even if the story stinks and sticks to the bottom of your shoes, at least the FX will look nice. “Seed 2: The New Breed” stars Caroline Williams, Christa Campbell, Nick Prinzipè, Jared Demetri Luciano, Manoush, Natalie Scheetz, Annika Strauss, and Sarah Hayden. While you’re waiting for more information, feel free to stare at the teaser poster below. You should...

Hint: he likes to kill. People. Bloodily. Check out a red band trailer for director Bj McDonnell’s “Hatchet 3″, which returns Danielle Harris as the spunkiest Final Girl that ever Final Girl’ed her way through a swamp. Anyhoo, please to watch the trailer, those who enjoy watching bloody trailers for horror movie sequels. I’ve never actually seen the “Hatchet” movies. Hey, it’s not that I don’t like a mindless slasher movie, it’s just that there’s so many of them out there, you gotta pick and choose, you know? Anyways, apparently you kids love this franchise enough that there’s now a third part, directed by first-timer Bj McDonnell. Adam Green, the franchise creator/director, “presents” the sequel. Check out the first teaser trailer for the film and some images below. Looks like it picks up right after the events of the first two movies, though I could be wrong. Nice to see Zach Galligan still around, though, I thought he had retired or something. Holly shit, this looks fantastic! Listen guys, we finally have the first clip from that horror thriller Hatchet 3, and trust me – you don’t want to miss it! There’s a looooot of action and shooting, but wait… will that be enough for a Swat team? Difficult question, because this time the Bayou Butcher looks tougher than ever!
As we previously reported, Adam Green (man responsible for Hatchet and Hatchet 2) stands behind Hatchet 3 script, while Bj McDonnell is on board as a director of the whole thing. Third movie will continue the saga of Crowley, the Bayou Butcher, who first made his gruesome mark in 2007′s Hatchet.

Dark Sky, following up yesterday's Frankenstein's Army treats, have premiered the first stills from Hatchet 3. While this series' main attraction, Victor Crowley is slightly obscured, the photos do show off its genre-friendly cast including Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2's Caroline Williams, Gremlins' Zach Galligan and sure-to-be Victor's match, Derek Mears (Friday The 13th, The Aggression Scale).
Written by series creator Adam Green, and the directorial debut of longtime camera operator Bj McDonnell, Hatchet 3 brings star Danielle Harris and her aforementioned co-stars back to Louisiana in the continuing saga of the "Bayou Butcher."...

If you were watching Gremlins last Christmas, and wondering to yourself whatever happened to that nice young Billy Peltzer, you need now look no further than the continuing chronicles of Victor Crowley. Zach Galligan has just joined the cast of Hatchet 3.Far from disappearing after the two attacks by transmogrified Mogwai in 1984 and 1990, Galligan has stayed busy in genre fare like the Waxwork and Warlock films, but Hatchet will be his highest-profile gig in a while (if you consider Hatchet high-profile; it's all relative). He'll be playing "Sherrif Fowler". He's not the only cult horror stalwart that'll be showing up either. Returning from earlier in the series are Kane Hodder (Jason in various Friday 13ths) and Danielle Harris (various Halloweens, Stake Land), and they're joined this time by Derek Mears (both recent Hills Have Eyes, the 2011 Friday 13th), Caroline Williams (Stretch from Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2), Diane Goldner (Feast) and Sean Whalen...

If Christina Applegate wins an Emmy Award this September for the NBC laffer "Up All Night," she will have something in common with Jennifer Aniston, Candice Bergen, Helen Hunt and Lisa Kudrow. All of these funny ladies claimed trophies for episodes where their characters gave birth, and that is exactly the subject of Applegate's possible submission if nominated as Best Comedy Actress. In a video chat with Gold Derby, Applegate revealed that she and the flashback episode's writer Caroline Williams had babies just two weeks apart. "We kind of went on the same journey at the same time. We really brought in a lot of things that had happened personally. I got it, and I thought it was written very full," she added. "I had some great funny stuff that I got to do that was so bizarre, which is the kind of stuff I love, like singing that live song.

Producers David Bond and Manda Manuel have been working on "The Profane Exhibit," which is a collection of thirteen international short horror films by different directors. Today, we have a first look at Uwe Boll's contribution, called "Basement," which stars Caroline Williams (Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2), Tara Cardinal and Clint Howard. Plot: Howard and Williams play a married couple with an ordinary life - except for the fact that they keep their starving and abused daughter in a locked basement room that she has not left in years. In this perverse nightmare scenario that is unfortunately based on fact, all the young daughter (Cardinal) wants to do is go outside and into the sun. Instead she must endure daily cruelties. This is a tale of sexual depravity and psychological torture and a subversive look at the depraved realities of suburban life. The company behind the film says that "Basement" may...

The Profane Exhibit is an anthology of 13 horror films from different countries. My favorite German director, Uwe Boll, made his about that really sick story about an Austrian father who locked his daughter in the basement and raped her.
You Know Boll has been dying to make a film about this since he first heard the story in 2008. Apparently, an Austrian man decided to rape his daughter, repeatedly, and locked her in a basement for 24 years. 24 Years. She had kids down there, and everything. Neighbors didn't know, no one knew. Even his wife, the girl's mother, claimed not to know exactly what happened. How fucked is that?
So fucked that Boll knew he needed to film it.
I'm not sure excatly what The Profane Exhibit is, except that is seems to be some kind of anthology of short horror frolm 13 different directors. Interesting to note, one of the directors is a woman,...

I had a chance to make an interview with Caroline Williams. I have a french horror website, but for you, I have translated the interview. To impress Tobe Hooper during the auditions, you went to the end of the hallway and ran screaming into the room. Is that true ? Richard Walter
Pardon the title, it was too good to resist!
So what does a screenwriting mother of three do on a Friday afternoon? She participates in a conference call sponsored by Scripped.com, of course!
The call featured Richard Walter, UCLA chairman of the graduate program in screenwriting. Mr. Walter is a screenwriter and novelist who has taught and guided writers such as Dustin Lance Black (Milk), Alexander Payne (Sideways), Audrey Wells (The Truth About Cats and Dogs) and Caroline Williams (the Office, Modern Family) to name a few. He has also worked with directors, George Lucas and Steven Spielberg. He is highly respected in his craft amongst Hollywood’s in-the-know, as well as scholars, critics and film buffs. I was very excited to hear what he had to say, particularly about writing and of the industry overall.
I won’t get into a long-winded piece on everything that was discussed,...

Joe Knetter is not only a writer in the indie horror genre but he's a published author, a stunt bot and does a little acting on the side. He has several projects in the works including one werewolf film we've been following for quite some time. Knetter is also one funny guy and you'll find out as you check out my latest "Versus". Consider this an early Christmas present peeps, read on!
Brian S- First off Joe, how'd you get into writing, specifically for the indie horror genre.
Joe Knetter- It was on a cocaine binge deep in jungle's of Brazil. I was covered in honey and waging war against this tribe of fairies called the Dundleberts. Those crazy little bastard loved nothing more than to pull out your pubic hairs while you slept and sprinkle them on your upper lip. Just thinking of them now makes me want...

The first thing people will notice about horror director Alan Rowe Kelly (Don't Look In The Basement, I'll Bury You Tomorrow) is that he is a gender bender, but Kelly has been bending more then genders his entire career as he has broken out the idea of conventionality. At the age of 39, with 40 just right around the corner, he had an epiphany. Bored with a career as a stylist, he made the sudden and dramatic move to horror. First testing the waters as an author, he switched over to the world of indie horror film directing where he won great acclaim for "I"ll Bury You Tomorrow". As he continued to direct films, he also started making a name for himself in the indie horror world as an actor playing power players, agents, something that rhymes with witch, etc. These were powerful, empowered characters that personally reflected upon Alan Rowe Kelly himself.

Brian S- First off, Jim, how'd you get into acting?
Jim O'Rear- It was by accident, actually. Many, many years ago (when I was about 11 years old) I was performing across the country as “The Youngest Professional Magician,” appearing with people like Harry Blackstone Jr. and The Great Tomsoni. After a performance, one night, a television producer approached me and asked if I’d like to act in a television commercial. Regional body, one of nine that made up Screen England, promoted film-making in east of country
Screen East, an agency set up to promote film-making in the east of England, is the first large-scale victim of the government's surprise decision to close down the UK Film Council.
The regional body, responsible for luring film productions such as The Duchess, The Dark Knight, Batman Begins, Atonement, Stardust and Children of Men to its locations, has folded after it was declared insolvent this month. It was one of nine regional agencies that made up Screen England and was funded jointly by the national film council and by the East of England Development Agency, both now being disbanded by the government.
In an unexpected twist, the agency's collapse was followed by the arrest of its finance manager, Melvin Welton. The 61-year-old from Great Yarmouth was held by police on suspicion of theft and...

"Miss Guided" creator Caroline Williams has inked a sizable two-script deal with Warner Bros. Television.
Under the mid-six-figure pact, she will develop two comedy projects for the studio, including one with Wbtv-based J.J. Abrams.
After a string of drama efforts with "Felicity," "Alias," "Lost," "Fringe" and the NBC pilot "Undercovers," Abrams and his company Bad Robot have been looking to enter the half-hour arena. This development season, they fielded a medical comedy project at Fox.
Abrams has some experience in comedy; in 2007, he directed an episode of NBC's "The Office."
It was during the filming of that episode that Williams, then a writer on the Emmy-winning NBC comedy, met Abrams.
The two talked a few more times, and then in December, Abrams approached Williams about working together on a single-camera comedy pilot with a female protagonist.
"I hung up the phone and danced around my office," Williams said. "He's an incredible storyteller,...
