He was born in the city of Aguascalientes, Mexico, where he initiated
his studies of piano, gave his first concerts as soloist and began
performing in the local jazz scene.
For more than twenty years his professional work has included popular music production, traditional Mexican music, dance, theater, cinema, radio and television up to the most demanding forums of the erudite music. Nominated to the award Grammy of the NARAS as arranger for Best Mexican-American Album. He has been a performer, programmer, arranger or composer in more than ten soap operas and television series of Mexico and EUA, as well as in the musical production of a similar number of cinematographic projects. In 2008 he received the award Diosa de Plata for the music of the film "El Viaje de Teo".
