We can't believe the long-awaited second season of Xo, Kitty is finally streaming on Netflix! After last season's jaw-dropping cliffhanger, our favorite teen matchmaker is back at Kiss, prepared to tackle whatever drama comes her way. Though, for her sanity, let’s hope it’s a smooth sailing semester this time! Who are we kidding, though? With Kitty, chaos is practically guaranteed—and we’re here for every second of it! Q doesn't call her his chaos queen for nothing.
Unfortunately, the second season is two episodes shorter than the first. With each episode clocking in at 30 minutes or less, the season flies by. You hit play on the first episode, and before you know it, you’ve already reached the season 2 finale! Honestly, it seems like the episodes go by even quicker because the story is so engaging and packed with twists, leaving you wanting more after each one.

Since we last spent a summer on Cousins Beach, almost two years have flown by. The Summer I Turned Pretty last released a new season in the summer of 2023, and while Amazon Prime Video renewed the popular teen drama series for a third season, the highly anticipated season ended up caught in the string of delays caused by the dual Hollywood labor strikes.
However, The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 will be coming this year with the new episodes expected to begin dropping sometime in summer 2025. Until then, there's still so much to learn about the upcoming season, including the synopsis, trailer, and first-look images. While those things have sadly not yet been released by Prime Video, there are still updates for fans to catch up on.

There’s a new sequel to the 1997 slasher I Know What You Did Last Summer (watch it Here) and its 1998 follow-up I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (watch that one Here) coming our way from director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson (Do Revenge) – and while Jennifer Love Hewitt, who played heroine Julie James in the first two films, and Freddie Prinze Jr., who was Julie’s boyfriend Ray Bronson in those films, are both back for this sequel, they are not the leads this time around… Which you might have assumed, given the fact that Hewitt’s deal to return wasn’t closed until after filming had already begun.
Prinze confirmed that he and Hewitt are not the leads during an interview on the Scale Talk Podcast with David Miniatures. He said, with thanks to our friends at Bloody Disgusting for the transcription, “[Director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson] just took such good care of Love’s character,...

The iconic ’90s slasher franchise ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ is set to make a comeback on July 18, 2025. Fans will be thrilled to see Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. reprise their roles as Julie James and Ray Bronson from the original film and its sequel. However, the focus of the new movie won’t be on Julie and Ray, as they’ll serve more as legacy characters supporting a fresh cast of faces.
In an interview with the Scale Talk Podcast with David Miniatures, Freddie Prinze Jr. shared details about the new direction of the franchise. “[Director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson] just took such good care of Love’s character, Julie James, and my character, Ray Bronson,” Prinze Jr. said. “They’re not the leads of the movie by any stretch of the imagination.’ That wouldn’t make sense—especially considering where their stories left off. After two successful seasons of Amazon's The Summer I Turned Pretty, all eyes have turned to the upcoming third season, and excitement is building for the teen romance's return. The first season of The Summer I Turned Pretty was a hit for Amazon. It dominated social media chatter even before the series was made available to stream, and the second season followed suit, so it’s easy to see why The Summer I Turned Pretty has been granted a season 3.

The Summer I Turned Pretty creator and author Jenny Han teases season 3's release window. The popular Prime Video adaptation, based on creator Han's novel trilogy of the same name, focuses on Isabel "Belly" Conklin (Lola Tung) and what happens once she finds herself in a love triangle with two brothers: Conrad (Christopher Briney) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno). Even though The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 was renewed back in August 2023, new episodes have been delayed by the writers' and actors' strikes which impacted filming across Hollywood. But the wait may soon be over.
In a post on Instagram, which was timed to the holidays, Han hinted that the show's return will feature a Christmas episode. In the caption of the post, which is included below, Han also teases season 3 will be released in summer 2025. The author wrote: “Can’t wait to spend Christmas in Cousins with you guys this summer.

Although Sarah Michelle Gellar recently visited the set of the next I Know What You Did Last Summer installment, don’t expect a Helen Shivers resurrection.
Following her Thanksgiving on-set photo from the upcoming sequel, the Golden Globe nominee confirmed “she dead” of her character in the original 1997 slasher, while admitting she “got in a little bit of trouble” for her behind-the-scenes post.
“You would think that being in my position, I know what rules are on sets when they say closed sets, you know,” she said on Live with Kelly and Mark. “So my husband’s [Freddie Prinze Jr.] starring in the movie and it was Thanksgiving so I took our kids to Australia to go out there and visit him. The heyday of teen romance TV shows from the late 1990s to the early 2010s created some of the best and most influential adolescent series of all time. This was the period when teenagers and the pangs of adolescence were starting to be taken seriously by film and television, as young adults were proving themselves to be a vast and marketable audience base. While there are many other great shows about teenagers that feature love stories, not all of them share the specific tone and atmosphere that makes a teen romance TV show so unique.
There are plenty of toxic couples in teen dramas, as most of the relationships presented in these shows are far from perfect and often problematic. However, these are easy to spot looking back on these shows, and it's important to remember to take most storylines and romantic interests in teen dramas with a grain of salt.

Belly Conrad (Lola Tung) has kind of been on her villain arc in The Summer I Turned Pretty, and the show needs to know that they're not doing the character any favors. The coming-of-age drama, The Summer I Turned Pretty, based on the trilogy of novels by Jenny Han, has always been filled with the painfully awkward moments from your high school years that you desperately try to remove any evidence of from your Facebook page. It can make the show particularly trying to watch at times, but it's at least always honest and the situations relatable.
Shows like The Summer I Turned Pretty are filled with characters making wrong choices. They're young people in love, who made all the right choices at that time? The lead character of The Summer I Turned Pretty is no different, and Belly often finds herself in tough situations that she's not always the most equipped to handle.

I will start by saying there are no shows like Euphoria. The HBO series is in a league of its own and to this day remains unmatched. But unfortunately, it is going to be a while before we get new episodes of the Zendaya teen drama. And that season 2 cliffhanger isn’t making this waiting game any easier.
Euphoria stars Zendaya as Rue Bennett, a teen drug addict fresh out of rehab and struggling to stay sober. Rue is the center of the story in the first season, with a small focus on the lives and troubles of the surrounding characters. The second season, however, dives deeper and expands the stories of those around Rue. The cast includes Angus Cloud, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Barbie Ferreira, Hunter Schafer, and Sydney Sweeney.
The second season of Euphoria wrapped on Feb. 27, 2022. So to say we are overdue for more episodes is an understatement!

Romance novels lend themselves to being adapted into TV shows, as their character-driven stories connect with audiences and make for compelling narratives. It's not surprising that so many of the best romantic television series are based on best-selling books consumed by a variety of readers. Screen iterations of literature make up a large part of film and television, and it follows that novel series would translate well to television. The multiple episodes and potential for many seasons mean that a long and complex story can be developed onscreen.
There are still many romance books that deserve TV show adaptations, as new and exciting additions to the genre are being published every day. The most important aspect of any romance story is the central relationship between the main couple. In books, the characters' chemistry is created by the author, but in TV shows, it's up to the actors to carry the...

There were so many stars in attendance at Thom Browne‘s event held during New York Fashion Week!
Instead of throwing a regular fashion show, the brand opted for a dinner party co-hosted by Oh, Mary! actor Cole Escola on Monday night (September 9) at The Commerce Inn in New York City.
Cole told Vogue at the event, “I still can’t wrap my head around why people want me to wear their clothes. It means a lot that this is coming from my play; I wrote this play and this character that is very much my voice and that other artists whose work I admire are responding to it and wanting to include me in their world, it’s everything.”
Newly engaged couple Justin Theroux and Nicole Brydon Bloom wore matching outfits at the event, which was also attended by Patti LuPone, Martha Stewart, Issa Rae, and The Gilded Age...
