Max Thieriot: Seal Team Star Prepping Cal Fire Drama for CBS
Seal Team may have left CBS behind for Paramount+, but one of its stars is staying in business with the Eye network.

According to Deadline, Max Thieriot is developing Cal Fire, a new series based on Thieriot's "experiences growing up in Northern California fire country and stems from an original idea by the actor."

The series follows a young convict named Bode Donovan, who is seeking redemption and a shortened prison sentence.

He joins a firefighting program that takes him back to his hometown in Northern California.

The show finds Bode and other inmates working alongside firefighters to keep the region safe from fires.

Jerry Bruckheimer (CSI), Tony Phelan, and Joan Rater (Grey's Anatomy) are also involved with the series.

It is unclear whether Thieriot would star in the project due to his commitments to Seal Team, but the latter's move to streaming might free the star to take on

‘Seal Team’ Honors 9/11 With Bravo’s Origin Story

‘Seal Team’ Honors 9/11 With Bravo’s Origin Story
We were all more innocent before the terrorist attacks of 9/11. And the members of Bravo Team are no exception. The gritty military drama honors the 20th anniversary in this week’s powerful episode, set mostly the day before, September 10, 2001. Younger actors were cast to play pre-battle-weary incarnations of the heroes we’ve followed for five seasons. “It’s an origin story,” explains Seal Team executive producer Spencer Hudnut. “In the final act, we get to that horrible morning and see how that day impacted their lives and their future decisions that led them to Bravo.” In the present day, the unit goes to New York City’s 9/11 Memorial & Museum for the anniversary. Leader Jason Hayes (Boreanaz) is contributing an item to the collection—a plot point inspired by executive producer and former Seal Mark Owen’s donation from the Abbottabad raid on bin Laden’...

Seal Team: Paramount+ Premiere Date Revealed!

Seal Team: Paramount+ Premiere Date Revealed!
Seal Team is leaving CBS behind.

That much we've known for a while now.

As previously reported, Seal Team Season 5 will begin its run on CBS Sunday, October 10 at 10/9c.

The first four episodes will air on CBS before it moves full-time to Paramount+.

The CBS series finale airs Sunday, October 31.

According to TV Line Seal Team Season 5 Episode 5 will be available following the West Coast airing of the CBS finale.

It means fans will get two episodes of Seal Team on one night, but it probably won't be welcome news for the fans who will not be following the show to Paramount+.

The decision to move the show was due to the robust streaming numbers and the lack of space on the CBS schedule.

"Everyone on Bravo is shocked when they learn a training exercise is really cover for a covert mission to get a weapons expert out of

Seal Team: CBS Drama Relocates to Paramount+ for Season 5

Seal Team: CBS Drama Relocates to Paramount+ for Season 5
Two CBS favorites are headed to Paramount+.

The streaming service from ViacomCBS announced Tuesday that new seasons of CBS dramas Evil and Seal Team will be available exclusively on Paramount+.

The move to Paramount+ from the CBS Television Network follows the series’ success on Paramount+, with Seal Team ranking among the most-watched CBS dramas on the service this season, and Evil ranking similarly as one of the most-watched during its debut season last year.

“Our Studio and Network have a strong track record of developing high-quality dramas that have multiplatform success, and these series speak to that strength,” said George Cheeks, President & CEO of the CBS Entertainment Group.

“These moves mark another example of how our linear and streaming ecosystem can strategically work together to maximize value for the content and benefit the series and its creators.” “We are thrilled to bring new seasons of these phenomenal series to Paramount+,

‘Seal Team’ and ‘Evil’ Confirm Moves From CBS to Paramount+
Paramount+ and CBS made it official on Tuesday: “Seal Team” and “Evil” will move from the broadcast network to streaming service Paramount+ next season.

Seal Team” will will premiere its fifth season first on CBS in the fall before its move, while “Evil” will debut its long-awaited second season fully on Paramount+.

Clarice,” which was also said to be shifting over to Paramount+, is still in negotiations to complete that move, an individual with knowledge of the talks told TheWrap.

ViacomCBS is set to present CBS’ upcoming fall schedule to advertisers on Wednesday.

‘Seal Team’, ‘Clarice’ Could Move to Paramount Plus From CBS

‘Seal Team’, ‘Clarice’ Could Move to Paramount Plus From CBS
Seal Team” and “Clarice” could soon be on the move. Variety has learned from sources that there are plans taking shape to move the series off of CBS to the ViacomCBS streaming service Paramount Plus.

According to sources, the current plan would be to air a few episodes of the fifth season of “Seal Team” on CBS before moving it over to the streamer, though deals for this are still being worked out. The move would also likely mean a reduced episode count for the series, which ran for 22 episodes its first two seasons, then 20 in Season 3, and 16 in Season 4, with the Season 4 set to wrap up on May 26. “Clarice,” meanwhile would move to Paramount Plus for the entirety of its second season.

Reps for CBS and CBS Studios declined to comment.

Should the move to Paramount Plus take place, it would be the latest example of a broadcast network

‘Seal Team’ & ‘Clarice’ To Move From CBS To Paramount+; Military Drama To Get Network Sendoff

‘Seal Team’ & ‘Clarice’ To Move From CBS To Paramount+; Military Drama To Get Network Sendoff
In what could be a glimpse of the future of a symbiotic relationship between broadcast networks and their streaming siblings, I hear two high-profile CBS drama series on the bubble, Seal Team, and Clarice, will be moving to Paramount+ next season.

The deals are still being finalized but I hear the David Boreanaz-starring military drama, which is wrapping its fourth season, will kick off its fifth season on CBS next fall and air its first several episodes — likely four — on the broadcast network before migrating to Paramount+. Freshman Clarice‘s second season will stream exclusively on Paramount+. Reps for the streamer and CBS Studios, which produces both series, declined comment.

Already seen with the moves of A.P. Bio from NBC to Peacock, Search Party from TBS to HBO Max and Younger from TV land to Paramount+, broadcast/basic cable series, owned or co-owned by the net’s parent company,
